Was David Johnson drafted? If not....GET HIM!

This is why I fear taking Luck/Gronk early. Suffering in every other position.

I'm not very worried.

I understand your reasoning...in fact I'm considering the same if I get the last pick. It would be hard to pass up a Calvin/d. Thomas duo though.

All I the only one who fears A. Brown as a bust? Everyone keeps saying he should be a top 6 pick

I wouldn't.....quite a few times I made the playoffs and won the title because of one game.

However if that is the route you choose...take Bell and Blount as your backs. They are both out the first week.

To me it depends on the format. For instance I play in a 10 team league that 6 make the playoffs. So I really don't mind the bell suspension because I only need to finish about .500 to make the playoffs so an early loss or two isn't a bug deal.

Anybody else think Sam Bradford is hella underrated going into this season? I want him as my #2 QB really bad. He could explode if he finally gets a healthy season.

Huge "if".....but as a number two QB I like him based purely on the offense.

I've seen him rated in the 18-25 range for QBs. I just think that's crazy.

I think he's top 5 in PPR based on volume alone. That's not necessarily how I feel about him as a player. And yeah, I was the 10th pick a 12 man draft so a lot of the attractive options were gone. I'm a risk taker in the draft because injuries and breakouts almost make it a crapshoot. I'd rather go for young backups who play behind lousy starters. I do understand that you may have suggested picking up D Johnson for that very reason, but whatever. :)

My league is easy money, it is ridiculous.

Highlights:

#5 Calvin Johnson, #6 Peyton Manning, #14 Cobb, 3rd round Davante Adams,

One guys draft: #9 Rodgers (Manning and Rodgers both went before Luck), 2nd round pick Melvin Gordon, 3rd round pick Arian Foster, 4th round ANDREW QUARLESS....this guy isn't even a Packer or Badger fan, just did it to piss people off. I just laughed that he threw away his money.

4th pick in 12 man league

Jamaal Charles
CJ Anderson (still left on board were Julio Jones, Beckham, and Gronk)
Gronk (still left Beckham and Randle)
Brandin Cooks
Jordan Matthews
Drew Brees
Chris Ivory
John Brown
Keenan Allen
Ronnie Hillman
Martavis Bryant (didn't hear he was suspended for 4 games or I would have taken Wheaton)
Knile Davis
Matt Jones
David Cobb
David Johnson

Didn't take a kicker or a defense and figured I would watch the three rookie running backs to see who takes over the lead position. Whoever struggles I can drop before the season starts and rotate kicker/defense throughout the year based on match-ups.

Disappointed because I wanted Randle and Ameer Abdullah but no way I was taking either over Gronk and by the 4th they were both gone. Happy that I was able to draft both of my sleeper wide receivers, thought maybe I would get one if lucky. Ivory as my flex is a steal. People started drafting backup running backs by the 10th round so I made sure to get both of my big handcuffs.

Just drafted in my 16 team keeper league, standard scoring. Missed a lot of my targeted guys right before my pick. Not thrilled, but think I can compete.

1.2: Marshawn Lynch
2.15: Jonathan Stewart
3.2: Julian Edelman
4.15: Cam Newton
5.2: Larry Fitzgerald
6.15: Torrey Smith
7.2: Breshad Perriman
8.15: Jameis Winston
9.2: Richard Rodgers
10.15: James Starks
11.2: Cody Parkey
12.15: Andre Ellington (keeper)
13.2: Keenan Allen (keeper)
14.2: Detroit Lions

QB: Cam Newton, Jameis Winston
RB1: Marshawn Lynch / Andre Ellington
RB2: Johnathan Stewart / James Starks
WR1: Julian Edelman / Larry Fitzgerald
WR2: Keenan Allen / Torrey Smith / Breshad Perriman
TE: Richard Rodgers
K: Cody Parkey
D/ST: Detroit Lions

I literally hate this team. Lynch is fine but why there a keeper league over like 6 other guys? Stewart is garbage in the 2 who is always hurt. Fitz / Smith / Perrriman way overdrafted. ouch.

14 team league, standard scoring. I usually shore up the Wrs and Rbs, and took a flier with the QBs.

Qb Bradford, and Foles

Rbs Cj Anderson, Melvin Gordon, Joseph Randall, Knile Davis

Wrs Damarius Thomas, Sammy Watkins, Andre Johnson, Eddie Royal, Terrence Williams

TEs Owen Daniels, Kyle Rudolph

K Mason Crosby

D Cheatriots

Winston, and Bortles are still available.... Should I flip Foles for either??
I needs shades for this future thing we owning..... 8-) 8-) 8-)

You realize it was a 16 team league right? I kept Ellington and Allen because I gave up extremely late picks to keep them.

What do you guys think would be a better top 6?

Group A: Charles/Julio/Odell/Alshon Jeffery/Ameer/Latavius Murray (later on drafting Kniles Davis and J. Bell)

or

Group B: Charles/CJ Anderson/Gronk/Cooks/Jordan Matthews/Brees (later on drafting Kniles Davis and Ronnie Hillman)

I'm taking the Fred Jackson gamble and I also needed a kicker so I picked up Scobee. Dropped A Williams and R Rodgers. Also dropped David Cobb in favor of Roy Helu Jr, who may offer some value in a PPR league.

Just made a monster trade in my dynasty league. Was bidding on Demarco Murray and everyone just stopped, sticking me with him. So I did this:

Demarco Murray (4 years)
Ryan Matthews
Jay Ajayi (4 years)
2 future 2nd round RC picks (which in my mind have negative value)

for

Carlos Hyde (4 years)
Jeremy Maclin (2 years)
Rashad Jennings (who I'm going to cut for salary cap space)

Maclin looks great in KC - everyone that that was going to be a bomb after the sh*tshow their WR's were last year but he's gonna be different. I've always been a big Hyde fan too and think he can put up Lacy type numbers.

I love your back up QB, like your RB situation quite a bit (though there is a lot of risk there) and think your WR situation looks fantastic. So fantastic I'd look at moving one of them for an upgrade at TE. If not, I'd look to pick up a guy like Tyler Eifert, Richard Rogers, Eric Ebron or most likely Mercedes Lewis who I think will be a very capable starter in Thomas' place.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I do like that starting lineup but I wouldn't draft Colston or Ebron either (I'm really not sure what role Crowell will have this year either).
