C'mon Seattle stop these 50 yard field goals. I can't lose to a kicker.

I honestly don't understand how the deadspin (maybe originally in the NYT, I forget) article on where the overwhelming majority of the winning actually happens didn't sink DFS. It's a scam.

People don't stop gambling even though they know that the book always wins over time. Look at this thread (myself included in previous years). "I'm winning, you guys. I picked the right guys and I think I've got this." - and then a few weeks later "I don't think this is possible to win - I quit." Just like when I think I'm a blackjack genius (OK, obviously you can't be that).

Of course, just playing for fun is always fine. This insider stuff is a different story and will actually make a few people shy away.

Was just offered CJ Anderson and Demaryius Thomas for Marshawn Lynch. Honestly, I'm kind of open to it. Marshawn has done absolutely nothing this year and now has a hammy that he'll be watching the rest of the year. I kind of want to do the trade and keep Thomas Rawls in the event that Lynch misses major time this year. I honestly think his career is almost over.

It's a 16 team standard scoring league. Here's my RB/WR currently...

RB (start 2): Marshawn Lynch, Andre Ellington, Jonathan Stewart, Karlos Williams, Thomas Rawls
WR (start 2): Julian Edleman, Sammy Watkins, Rishard Matthews, Ted Ginn Jr.

I would take that deal and run. Demaryius alone is better than Lynch this year.

Yeah, I'd take Demaryius for Lynch. Let CJ sit there and see if he magically recovers.

Got lucky this week. Had the seahawks defense going agains jimmy graham and was up 5. If calvin johnson scores, i lose 2 points as the seahawks gave up more than 13. turned out i won by 1 point because of that.

I may have lost if that CJ TD counted as well. I didn't go through the trouble to calculate, but it was a PPR league and I only won by 8ish.

Offer accepted by me:

Ronnie Hillman/Karlos Williams out

Carlos Hyde and Tevin Coleman in

I realize the risk. One Karlos has a concussion this week and McCoy could be back in a week or two. I realize Hillman will now be the "starter" in Denver, but still expect CJ to continue stealing carries from him. Hillman had a nice 72 yard run in open space against Minnesota, but after that he had 10 carries for 33 yards.

I know Hyde has a tough schedule (AZ and SEA) but still expect big things for him come playoff time against CLE/Cincy/DET

Plus I have Freeman and needed his backup. Now CJ Anderson is completely useless on my team, but oh well I will hold on to him just in case.

Who would trade Freeman for Gurley/Maclin?

My Other RB's are AP/Gordon/Miller
My WR's are J Matthews/Harvin/R Matthews

Some hoe my team is in 2nd place

I am all over trying to acquire Tevin. People have been treating Freeman like prime AP, but the reality is he has a pretty heavy volume and opportunity to get those numbers. Remember, they had Freeman and still invested a second round pick in Tevin (pretty sure about that) and Tevin was the starter week 1.

Definitely a great buy low guy right now

Assuming you are giving up Freeman for Gurley and Maclin, I'd be all over it. Actually a damn near no brainer to sell high on Freeman as I believe he is about to be right back in a time share with a more talented back. Rams invested a ton in Gurley and Maclin looks like a WR 1 the last couple of weeks.

The thing about Freeman is his style of running is not going to keep him healthy for the entire year. If you have Freeman, you need Coleman.

The fantasy gods are a cruel bunch. in a 12 team league where I'm second in pts scored and 1-3. Scored 183 two weeks ago and lost... literally years go by with out any teams scoring 183 ever in that league I just happen to play a guy who scored 185. Ridiculous
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I scored 150 the week before and lost by 50. This week I scored 107 and won.
