Re: College Football 2015
As long as Mitch Leidner is starting for the Gophers, you Wisconsin fans shouldn't worry an iota about Minnesota. He is such a horrible QB. If we had even an average P5 QB, we'd be a top 20-25 team, but we'll likely struggle to get to even bowl eligibility as it currently stands. Between the Gophers O and Packers D, it's going to be a long fall/winter for me.

You can always root for Notre Dame to lose.

I wonder if Ohio State will drop after looking horrible pretty much all day.

Re: College Football 2015
The stupidity of coaches continues to amaze me. USC is down 10 to Stanford facing a 4th and 13 from the 23 with 14 seconds left. Instead of just trying the FG, which you're going to need anyways, they went for it and predictably didn't convert.
Now I have no idea how good or bad USC's kicker is but even if it's a 60/40 make/miss probability, that's still better odds than converting on a 4th and 13 and still having enough time left to get points before time runs out.
I'll never understand why coaches get so desperate in situations like that just going for the end zone and wasting precious seconds instead of just taking the points and then leaving yourself some time after an onside kick.

So basically what it's been like for about 20 years now?

It's funny. Most Minny fans couldn't stop talking about how they were going to win the division and beat UW after keeping it close against TCU. Now a lot of them are gloom and doom.

Ole Miss doing their best to blow a 43-24 lead in one quarter, now only up six.

Where was the targeting call on that Ole Miss player that just hit Coker exactly how Leon Jacobs hit the Troy QB?

They don't have time for that. They play actual football.

The fact that Bama turned the ball over 5 times and still had a chance to win...

There's always some shiny new toy that's in the marketing campaign as to why this is the year. Bonus for Trevon Boykin missing some wide open TDs to widen the spread forgotten from memories.
I feel like it's what I would have been like as a Bucks fan if I wasn't so skeptical about in his mid-later tenure.

Yeah, you should always kick a field goal there down 10. If you get the onside kick, it leaves time for a hail mary. Under 30 secs won't leave you with time to kick a FG to tie anyways.
