Well everyone who was so against Myles Jack should hate the thought of Billings. 31 other teams passed on him (twice) so there must be a reason.

Yep, love that logic. I don't want anybody who's available because if there wasn't something wrong with them they wouldn't be available.

Exactly.....imagine if we did that with Rodgers.

Profound that is a horrible analogy. We didn't pass on Jack because others did. We passed on him because of his injury. If Rodgers had a degenerative injury to his shoulder then no we don't draft him either.

These two situations are NOT comparable to each other. Good god guys your better then this. Least I though some of you were.

I don't think you can claim to know why we passed on him. Maybe we didn't like that he's "just happy to be here" and wasn't willing to make an argument for himself.

Well, I know TT purports BPA...and here we are in the 3rd round with our needs positions having available talent: LB, DL, RB, and TE. Jerell Adams, Schobert, Martinez, Brown, Morrison, Fackrell, Jenkins, Brothers, Dixon, Prosise, Drake, Booker, Irving, Billings, Hargrave, Bullard. All are available. One of these guys will be there. And, I'd be content with any one of them.

EDIT: Forgot Killebrew who I consider a darkhorse...but he may still be there in the 4th.

In fairness that wasn't the argument. It was to show that people lamenting the fact that we didn't select him that there was a reason.

Also the comparison isn't fair. HUGE difference between picking a guy in the 3rd that falls versus picking a guy with a degenerative knee in the 1st.

In fairness, there is always a reason.

Yes and the reason the Packers passed WASN'T because other teams passed on him.

It was pointed out that other teams passed on him also because others were lamenting not taking Jack but the reason was still his knee

First time I heard this guys name but WalterFootball has him rated as the #2 ILB.....I thought we liked Scooby Wright.

Crazy the magazine I'm looking at right now doesn't have him listed. It has porn.

But the OTHER magazine I'm looking at, the football draft one, doesn't even have him listed. Must have been a late riser.

I am not MAD we passed on Jack, I can trust the process. However, I have to laugh at so many people saying they didn't want him, "Because so many other teams are passing on him for a reason." You can say that about any player. Randy Moss for drug use, Aaron Rodgers for his ego and mechanics.....

The post wasn't about Ted passing on Myles Jack, it was about the fans who say stupid things like "if everyone else passes on him, I don't want him."

Your possibly right but with the evidence presented it's a pretty safe assumption that it was the knee which would be a pretty damn good reason not to roll the dice on him round one.

Personally I would have taken him. But it's not like it's a bad idea not to

Just think how many people were throwing things because we drafted Clark over Billings.

Damn Bullard was out there still? Didn't particularly like him for us but Bears defense man, Leonard Floyd, Bullard, plus the two free agent ILBers? Fox is going to have that defense scary soon.

What's a magazine and how do you download porn off of it?

Walterfootball must be a Bears fan...he's practically sucking their cocks with every pick they make.

Been seeing alot of players fall. Probably more than most years even. Thinking the draft experts dropped the ball this season

Well, he had all 3 of their picks as 1st round guys for a lot of the process.

He's a Penn State alum, so possibly a Bears fan.

Floyd had a hard time producing at the college level so I'm not too high on him personally.

Damn, there goes Calhoun. Looking like we could get our LB or TE here though.

Miller would be a fun pick. Last night, Ellerson said McCarthy would have a wet dream if we drafted Miller. I think that's accurate.
