I've said this before about John Brown, he is T.Y. Hilton from like 3 years ago...he will end the year with a decent amount of yards and touchdowns, but it will be like a monster game every 3 or 4 weeks. You will never know when it is coming and he'll drop turds that will cost you games along the way. Wait for Brown to have a big game and move him for a more consistent player.

Full disclosure, I feel like I was largely wrong about everything I thought would happen in Week 1, so consider this advice at your own risk

Agreed and I expect the same from Brandin Cooks. He had his big game this week so I fully expect him to be MIA for a few weeks. Could be wrong but that is how he and Brown were for me last year.

Can someone tell me if I am crazy in trading DeAngelo/DeMarco for Gurley? I mean it could backfire but in 3 weeks DeAngelo will probably be only getting a few carries a game and Derrick Henry may take over for Murray.

My league is big on 100 yard games....people who get 100 yards rushing or receiving win due to bonus points. I don't see DeAngelo or Demarco getting 100 on a regular basis.

Lineup
Winston/Cousins
Gurley/Langford/Jeremy Hill/Gio/Ameer/Riddick
Jordy/ODB/Evans
Barnidge/Cook

I'd do that deal for Gurley

Tajae Sharpe
Tevin Coleman

My only lock as a starter right now is Cooper. Tempting to bench Dez as he is facing Norman and doesn't have great chemistry with Prescott yet. I really like Marvin and Tajae this week. Can't bring myself to consider benching Gurley, but struggling between Murray/Langford for my RB2. Any thoughts are welcome.

I'd watch the injury reports on Freeman really closely this week. If he is slowed, you might be able to play Coleman.

I'm actually thinking of sitting Dez for Doug Baldwin this week, full well knowing the risk of him blowing up. That said, didn't Dez and Daz have really good preseason chemistry? I thought I remember reading that, but only 5 targets last week when Beasly gets like 10 is troubling.

I'd probably lean Gurley/Langford, Dez/Coooper and either Murray or Cobb the flex...if Freeman is hurt, I start Coleman.

Marvin Jones or TY Hilton for my #3? I'm leaning Hilton but he has a tough match up @ DEN defense on tap. Jones is playing at home vs. TEN. I also have Sterling Shepard but I can't trust him just yet.

Might just flip a coin.

I'd go Jones this week.

I might lean Shepard tbh. The past 4 NO/NYG games have put huge totals and I think NYG are going to be on the better side of the shootout.

I think Hilton will handled and Marvin Jones is iffy. I'd go Jones or Shepard.

Seriously, people are giving up on Gurley way too soon. One bad game and a tough game in Week 2 and people are dealing him for DeMarco or LeSean McCoy?

Sammy Watkins VS Jets tonight with a bum foot

OR

Willie Snead @ NYG

Snead out performed Watkins week 1.

ETA: It's PPR.

Got an interesting trade offer of Barnidge for Tevin Coleman.

Normally I would not even consider this, but my TE play is abysmal, Barnidge has McCown throwing it to him again and I'm fairly deep at RB with Gurley/Latavius/Langford/Gio. I think both players have big weeks, but Coleman will likely be on my bench for his... Torn.

As a Barnidge and Coleman owner....if I had to release one it would be Barnidge. I didn't even want to draft him, he was sitting there in the 10th and I finally said..."FINE!"

I don't know, man. Barnidge was instrumental in my title run last year. He an McCown have a next level bromance, and I think the QB switch translates to near double-digit targets for Barnidge each week. I do love Coleman's upside though. Can't reiterate enough how weak I am at TE also.

Glad Forte was able to circumvent my Bears embargo.

Bennie...if only because u have to have faith myself. But seriously, he had like 10 targets last week with Allen...I'd only imagine that goes up...BUT...he probably garners the CB1 attention too. I do not trust Forsett snap counts nor Sharpe's consistency at this point.

I would lean Tajae, but Benjamin is a solid play as well.

Im pulling for TBenjamin too, he'll have this past week of practice and regular season stuff starts to gel as we move on from here. First week can be a crap shoot.

I was bummed when I just missed on Watkins a pick or two before mine came up. I think he'll have a good run for a few weeks. He never puts a full season of solid work. Who really does though?

A difference between not putting up a full season and being hurt ALL SEASON every season. Someone dropped Watkins in my league and I won't waste my waiver priority to drop my worst player (Riddick or Cousins) to pick him up. I am actually hoping someone gives up someone I actually value to get him.
