Can you imagine how insufferable Troy Aikman will be doing a Packer playoff game against Dallas.
Aikman hasn't ever been bad to have call a Packers game.

Collinsworth on the other hand.........

Collinsworth is awesome.

Nantz and Romo are the #1 but I would give #2 to Tirico and Colliinsworth, mostly because of Collinsworth. Buck & Aikman #3.

Here is my favorite way to remember the Mike McCarthy era in GB.

https://philome.la/BadgerNoonan/mike-mccarthys-3-minute-mania/index.html

If you’ve never played “Mike McCarthy’s 3 minute mania” it will transport you back to 2016 and the memory of why you never want this guy coaching your team in the playoffs. I feel better about our chances every time I play.

Pretty close to my list. My only real gripe on Aikman is that he can sometimes obsess over an error(by anyone) on the field and can't let it go for the entire game. Buck fawns too much on Aikman, but that may be a network push too. He also can't deal with temps lower than 50* without crying about it on air.

I can't think of a Fox broadcast team that I'll listen to at all

1 - Herbstreit and Fowler

2 - Buck and Aikman

3 - Tirico and Collinsworth

4 - Natz and Romo

5 - A bunch of JAGs.

I have no idea how to rank the announcing teams

For Play by play guys I love Buck & Tirico
For color analysts I love Olsen & Romo

I don't really hate any of Nantz, Burkhardt, Aikman, or Collinsworth though

Michaels & Herbstreit is the worst though

I love Collinswowrh.

I agree that Herbstreit and Fowler are amazing.

Don’t really care for Buck and Aikman.

For the future Noah Eagle is good (and 26). Jac Collinsworth is not good.

I like Herbstreit, college or pro.

It’s become a stacked WR room, but it would be a shot in the arm to have him back for the playoffs.

He's still good, but it was better when they let him predict plays. IIRC, CBS took issue with it and told him to cut it out

Also, he has been out of the game so long that he can't predict plays like that anymore. Maybe from time to time from watching game film, but he was able to do it more so in the beginning because he had just left the game.

I love so many things about this.

I love jaire doing his thing.
I love the reporter completely confused on what just happened.
I love her being oblivious to that being a packer.

And I have new eye candy to follow.

Absolutely. Outside of the obvious postive of having your best deep threat they also will simply need the depth because I doubt Doubs plays and both Reed and Whicks have been banged up. Plenty of snaps for everyone.

I know what's probably gonna happen this week, and beat case scenario (if we win this week) will happen next week....but how crazy would it be if we won the Superbowl this year?

Like everyone would have to eat crow....all of us included.

Obviously a long shot, but there is a pathway to a run if the offense just gets on a roll. Bears D was on fire and the Packers didn’t punt once against them. Obviously the red zone offense would need to be on point.

The way to beat Dallas is to ride the hell out of Jones and have long drives. Then we can work play action off of that.

I basically like all the A team announcing crews. Unfortunately, Michaels is past it, reminding me of Marv Albert with the constant misses on player names and general goings on during the game.

Winning the SB this year then spending the next 10+ years getting frustrating close but never back would be the most Packer thing ever.

But hell id sign up for it.

I watch the majority of my sports muted with music playing in the background. But I did listen to some packer broadcasts this year and I typically like Collinsworth but I thought his performance for the Packers/Chiefs game was embarrassing. From obsessing about the chiefs backup LB to going full chiefs homer the last drive and whining about a non-existent PI on a **** hail mary.
