Three cuts in season

The Houston Texans released defensive end Sam Montgomery, outside linebacker Willie Jefferson and running back Cierre Wood after they violated team rules at their Kansas City hotel, according to the Houston Chronicle.
All three players were reportedly sent home Sunday morning and were among the Texans' inactives for Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Chiefs.
Montgomery was a third-round draft pick this year and has struggled to get playing time. Wood and Jefferson are also first-year players. Jefferson was reportedly dismissed from Baylor for failing multiple drug tests.

So Foster has a bad hamstring, Tate has broken ribs and is likely gone after this season, and now Wood is cut.

I know Jefferson had this problem in Baylor and got kicked out of that school. Sam had issues throughout the preseason and at LSU and the Texans might just said fu. Never heard anything bad about Wood. There has to be more behind this like curfew and drinking when at a time they should been, Like hours before the game or lit up just before the game.

Wow who cares about some cannabis use?? I can't believe they cut Cierre Wood over some pot and expect him to get picked up somewhere else.

Is weed the reason they were cut?

I have to be honest, with as poorly as this team has been playing I can understand the team getting upset about players getting baked the night before a game.
