This thread is for the purpose of discussing who we will take in the upcomming draft, or who would be good for the team....

My picks are as following:

1st Rnd: Greg Jones (ILB Mich ST): An impact player who has been a key to the Mich St. Defence performing at the level it has for the past 2 years. Has a knack for getting to the QB like that of a 3-4 OLB but has the sideline to sideline play ability to stop the run. A leader in the locker room as well. Is expected to go in the 2nd round, however I have a feeling that if the Colts dont grab him later in the 1st rnd that he will be nabbed by a team like the Pats or Browns. He can play either the OLB or ILB spots in a cover 2 system, however in the colts case the ILB spot is more preferable as he is better against the run then the pass....

2nd Rnd: Davon House (CB NMST): A good sized cb at 6.0" who should be especially useful in a cover 2 defence that utilizes LBs and DBs alike in defending the pass. House lead the WAC league in interceptions and passes defended, and is in general a good fit for the colts and a great pick.

It's a little early for me to speclifically start naming guys, but I feel like the team is going to have to look to upgrade the O-line and DT specifically.

Postions I think Colts need to improve: OL DT LB DB and more OL
Players I like for Colts:
1st Rd
Gabe Carimi- he is the guy I most want, he is huge and pretty quick. Played LT in college hopefully in the League too
Nate Solder- if Carimi is gone and if his stock doesn't skyrocket. He is a nice big prospect
Justin Blackmon- WR class is strong so he could still be on the board at 23, we would love another playmaking receiver, young and tons of potential. Gonzalez should be waived imo, and Garcon might too.

Greg Jones is a good player with great instincts would love to have him, he is maybe a 2nd rounder.
Davon House would be a nice nickel back for us in the 2nd rd.
Drake Nevis is huge cajun DT from LSU that would be a nice selection. Moala Johnson Muir need an upgrade, help stop the run a bit, 2nd rder.

I like the idea of getting Davon House because the Colts need to force more turnovers next year. 28th in the league isn't going to cut it.

Any chance the Colts offer a 3rd rd pick for a veteran defensive player like the Jets did for Cromartie? I'd do it in a heartbeat. The team is running out of time to build around #18.

Draft starts today.
1st: Obviously OL help, depending on who is still their on our selection I would love Costanzo but he will probably be gone. Leaving Sherrod or Solder and maybe Watkins as our choices which I'm fine with.
2nd: We could go a couple ways here. I wouldn't mind a good WR if he is still there or a DT or maybe just BPA. Hankerson, Christian Ballard, Nevis
3rd: I really want Sash here. We need S help and Colts ties to Iowa are strong and Sash seems like a good fit.

A lot of changes could happen so we'll see.

Hopefully we get a good coup of players!

Very excited that Castonzo is Colt. Didn't expect him to fall, neither the Front Office apparently but he is our starting LT of the future. Ijalana is a very nice selection as well, he will be the starting RT hopefully. Both selections shore up our offensive line effectively. Drake Nevis in the 3rd is nice as we needed a DT, first 3 round selections were very smart ones, IMO. As for the 4th, I am not familiar with him but after looking him up he a bruiser back. CB Chris Rucker, I have no idea about either. I really wanted Tyler Sash and it's to be bad we couldn't get him.
Colts do well in undrafted free agents so we'll see where that goes.
Overall good draft, give it a solid B
