Charlie Johnson: Question from a Vikings fan

Post#1 » by rennytwentyone » Fri Aug 5, 2011 3:52 pm

Hey guys,

My team (the Vikings) signed your old guy Charlie Johnson. Just want to get your honest opinon on how is as a LT? Was he solid?

As you know we cut Bryant McKinnie for reporting at 400 pounds after playing at 335 last year.

Thanks!

He is pretty average IMO. Nothing special, but he is a tough guy. I would like for him to still be on our team if that means anything.

He's passable as a LT, but I wouldn't say he's a strength on the offensive line. His greatest strength is his versatility on the offensive line as he can pretty much play any position except center.
