First-round pick Eugene Monroe is expected to be the Jaguars' opening-day left tackle, over William "Tra" Thomas.
Barring a training camp holdout. The Jags will try to avoid a situation like Derrick Harvey's last year. Had they known Monroe -- very arguably the top pass protector in this draft class -- would slip to No. 8 overall, Thomas probably never would've been signed. It's even possible he'll be released in August.

This is impressive, and I think teams are going to regret letting Monroe slip to #8. The Jags get a great O-Lineman who can block for the run as well as the pass, and should have a good rookie year for them.
