Pre-Season Game 2#

Sean Smith vs Panthers CB
Dolphins D vs Panthers O-Line
Ginn vs Panthers CB
Henne vs World

Miami’s rebirth came thanks in large part to a little formation called the Wildcat. The Fins unleashed it onto the unsuspecting NFL in the second week and, with it, proceeded to hand out cock-punches to the opposition like teriyaki chicken samples at the food court. The result: a new era of Dolphins football.

The Fins will host the Carolina Panthers this Saturday at LandShark Stadium for a preseason matchup, and the Wildcat is sure to make an appearance. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m., and tickets start at $41.

I'd like to see the O-Line play better, open up our running game

again, this is a team we play in the regular season, so don't expect anything other than vanilla offense

to add to your list, I also want to see Chris Williams kickoffs continue (I bet he makes the team, adios Brandon London) and see Vontae Davis play better mentally

Chris Williams should beat out Brandon London.
Vonte needs to play smarter and cut down on dumb penalty's.
O-Line needs to open holes
Henne/Pat need more time(Penny scares me w/ Injury history)

I get to watch this game up here in Charlotte. Woo!

I am interested to see how Williams (the Returner) plays and also Ginn and Smith, in addition to Davis.

^ Something is weird. 560 said that the Miami Herald is reporting 2 players possibly have the swine flu, yet the Dolphins haven't gotten the results of the tests, yet.

:dontknow:

Williams hasn't had the same running lanes he had last week, and he muffed a catch that led to a fumble. Not a good showing for him thus far.

Also, our Special Teams has been horrible tonite. Where is our tackling?

Vonte looks alot better today. Played with confidence and hit the hole strong for a CB.
Henne once again showed poise in the pocket.
O-Line looked much better(mostly due to the wild-cat)
Chris Williams has one more shot to impress, if he fails next week his cut.

I hope I get to see some of the games, it sounds like the offense is getting on track.

Vontae is a physical beast.

Wow, the bloom fell off the rose for Chris Williams fast, no? He needs a year on a practice squad (if he isn't poached by someone else -- if he is, thats ok)

The QB dynamic is an odd one. If anyone else but Chad P. were here and hadn't performed at an MVP level last year, Henne would be starting. Chances are we let Pennington walk away after this season for nothing and some other team is going to get a gem, but there's no way Henne can sit next year, unless Pennington gets us to a Super Bowl. I think Pennington has never had back to back injury free years in the his career, so chances are Henne will get his chance this year.

I don't want to lose Lex Hilliard, he has shown me something these last 2 weeks, but of course he's playing against 3rd team defenses out there. I don't know if it's possible to keep Ronnie, Ricky, Cobbs, and Lex on the 53 man roster, but there's no way Lex isn't picked up by someone else if we try and get him to the practice squad. Remember-- Ronnie and Ricky are free agents after this season.

Hilliard has really impressed w/o a doubt, and I'm wondering if Sparano will get him in the game much earlier next week to see his worth/value. But, I highly doubt we're going into the season with 4 RBs.
