Of 120 corners who played at least 300 snaps, PFF graded him at No. 114. I mean...

patterson and andrew zimmer are co-defensive coordinators, while retaining their position coach duties
its almost like they don't really even need anyone in that role

Continuity in the wrong offense for a passing Qb. Perfectly Vikings.

everson griffin voided his contract so he's a free agent. vikes get a little bit of cap space
and so begins the off-season of transition on defense

Brady is available. Quick trade Cousins for nothing over to the Chargers. Like buy them a veggie burger or something. Then thow every cent cleared after Brady in FA. This offense is perfect for Brady right now. So are the receivers.
Then all they need is to draft lineman for both sides. You know I'm right!

Crazy to see the return we got for Diggs compared to the return Houston got for Hopkins.

The Diggs trade gives us the opportunity to rebalance the roster with all the defensive players who have left and our subpar offensive line. Hopefully we can take advantage.

moves so far
tagged harris
extended cousins for two years (get some cap space now - about 10m i think)
extended ham for four years
extended colquitt for three years
traded diggs (and a 7th) to the bills for four picks (get some cap space)

diggs trade was big, kind of surprised and kind of not considering all the talk for like a year on this. thought it might be boy who cried wolf type situation but i guess not
lot of picks to reload the defense and hopefully address the oline. plus its a great draft for receivers i hear so hopefully a diggs replacement can be had.

I would love for us to take a flyer on Chase Claypool if he is still there in the 2nd round. His size and athleticism is pretty damn rare.

just doesn't feel like the draft is next week, haven't been paying as close attention
so we have quite a few needs, which players would do you guys like in the first couple rounds?

I was just going to ask the same thing. I don't really have any opinions on who we should draft. Seems like we have a lot of options in terms of position. In the mock drafts I've looked it at it's been mostly receivers and corners.

i wonder if waiting on a wr until the 2nd or 3rd would be best. we need one but the importance on a wr2 is probably going to be less going forward (maybe another reason why they traded diggs). going to be running more, 2 te's more often (irv!), so maybe not such a dire need that we need to spend a first on a wr - especially since it is such a deep class
corner and line (o or d) in the first would be my preferences

CB
DT
Dline/Oline
TE
RB
Ol
QB
CB
Couple undrafted WRs
Rick's usual. THen again, usually after losing a big WR or RB name Rick will blow his own mind overdrafting an instant replacement in his mind. So could see a Diggs replacement reached on.

we have 12 picks now. usually rick likes to trade around a lot to get at least 10. does he still do that and we end up with like 15 picks this year or maybe consolidate and move up to get guys they really like

Well he hasn't traded up yet. Maybe he tries to get for 3rds later.
He's bound to add 3 new CB. You know he'll grab another RB and TE. Maybe a few run-only lineman. Perfect for that passing QB they have, right! Going to be hilarious watching the outcome of a coach half in retirement asking rookies to man the posts.
