week 17: packers @ vikings

Post#1 » by hermes » Wed Dec 26, 2012 6:49 pm

packers (11-4) @ vikings (9-6)

win and we're in, lose and we need some help

ap needs 208 yards for the record, about a 100 or so for 2k even

play like last week and i like our chances (although with ap running better)

Got to keep Aaron Rodgers under control and Ponder can't turn the ball over like he did the last game against the Packers.

apparently most of the packers really don't want ap to get the record against them, i'd say that is alright if it means a repeat of the houston game where the focus was so much on adrian that ponder could do some things

Fun game and a nice win for the Vikings. Coming up nine yards short has got to sting a little bit for AP, though.

Great game. I was getting nervous.

Had we been able to stop the Packers in the 3rd when they went on their run, AP could've easily broke the record tonight. Oh well, we got the win and AP can sit at 2nd all time until next season when we have WR weapons to give our offense more balance.

Ponder was very solid. He still needs to work on finding his target when he's scrambling and not throwing the football to the sky when he's getting sacked. I've been seeing the improvement in him. He was also able to throw to Jenkins on 3rd & 11 late in the 4th. That was a HUGE play and Ponder kept his cool.

MVPeterson.

Unbelievable game, so much fun to watch. Ponder still made some dumb decisions but he got away with them and then made some clutch throws. Peterson came painfully close to the record, but he still had more yards in December than any back has ever had in any month. We've got find a way to stop Aaron Rodgers in we want to win again next week.

We must find away to get Rodgers on his back ... they need to find away to keep AP from a 3rd consecutive 200 yard game ... should be interesting
