dang, he's a douglas adams fan too? hate to see kluwe go i really liked him

but it was coming i suppose, do you guys think it was all the off the field stuff he was doing that the vikings were just sick of it?

I like Kluwe, and I liked how he was outspoken for what he thought was important. I hope that's not why he was cut, but you never know for sure. As a punter I think he was middle of the pack, and replaceable. If we drafted the Blair Walsh of punters then this is the right move.

I think Seifert actually has it about right. The "distraction" issue didn't do him any favors, but he was cut because he cost too much for mediocre performance.
