Traded to Carolina for a 5th round and a 7th round. So we dropped 20 spots and only picked up a 7th.

probably some projected UDFA they're trying to lock up...maybe Michael Sam!

Could be! Can he play both linebacker and DE? Also, we just traded with Atlanta...what is going on here!?

They gave us a 6th and a 7th. Currently, we have two 6th round picks and three 7th round picks. Must be a bunch of late guys that we want to pick up. Cb, Safety, and Wr...I hope.

Was it confirmed they were trading up for Manziel? I heard PA say he thought Bridgewater was the 2nd QB on our board behind Bortles.

and another CB...getting very fast in the secondary. Notes on exum are that he might be a safety, even better.

Kendall James and Antone Exum, both DB'. Don't know anything about these guys.

Exum sounds like a physical specimen who would've been a day 2 pick at the latest, but ran into injury, then chose not to play even after being cleared to return by Dr. James Andrews, who's apparently involved in 99% of all athlete surgeries

Robinson had a decent rookie year. He looked much worse once Frazier and crew put him into the slot position (no experience before) and left him to die.

I liked him his rookie year too and thought he might have a nice future, but it's not like they put him at nose tackle, he was still covering wide receivers and was preposterously bad at it.

I had heard they wanted to trade up for Manziel, but I wasn't sure whether it was known or assumed that Manziel was the target. Sounds like a couple sources confirmed it was Manziel.

I see what you're saying, he definitely had some games where he was just horrible. Carolina, for example. But, I did feel like the coaching staff was like, oh, here is our next Winfield- plug him in quick. Slot position is so much different from the outside. Anyways, I expect him to do fairly well this year. Also, I am excited to see Cox play. The CB from Chargers we picked up, hopefully Zimmer can bring the best out of him.

According to a tweet from Chris Tomasson, Exum believes that he will play safety for the Vikings. Exum also stated he was healthy and has recovered from an ACL tear and then a season-ending high ankle sprain after the ACL tear.

Sounds like a project. Only 10 career receptions!!!??? Also, played some games at quarterback. Remind me of joe webb. Not a big fan of this pick.

In nine starts this year, 5 at QB and 4 at RB.

On concerns over 10 catches, Georgia Southern runs the triple option. RBs don't catch a lot of passes.

You still like to see it in games. You don't know how he catches the ball until you see it in game situations.

It sounds like he's more of an offensive weapon than a pure running back. I'll take it though if he's as explosive as they say. I love the guys who can take a 5 yard swing pass and turn it into an 80 yard touchdown.

yeah if you're going to draft a running back that you want to catch a lot of passes you want to see it first - not knocking mckinnon, he sounds really explosive and they could really do some interesting things with him

more than just catching passes i would bet

this could be the year all the young linebackers we have start getting in on more action - i'm with the others here, we have a reasonable stable of young guys that we need to see what we have before drafting any more
