week 4: falcons @ vikings 3:25 pm

Post#1 » by hermes » Fri Sep 26, 2014 3:05 pm

falcons (2-1) @ vikings (1-2)

banged up vikings team hands over the keys to teddy to lead them the rest of the way, how will the offense change with him at the helm. will the offensive line be able to block so he stands a chance? (i've heard the falcons have trouble getting to the qb)

will the defense continue to improve and avoid rough stretches like the opening of the saints game

go vikings!

Wanted to mention that Munnerlys fine was revoked.

No Greenway, Fusco, or Rudolph. Asiata still the starter... I'm expecting a game similar to New Orleans. But I'm optimistic Teddy does well.

I think a full week of practice with the first team and everyone knowing he's the starter is going to help a lot - just being more prepared

I just hope that the rest of the team can help him out enough

This is a big game. If we lose, people are going to say the season is over.

Hodges has looked better than Greenway so it's not that big of a blow.

MarQueis Gray will get the nod at TE. Should be interesting.

also that 10 second run-off on the reversed call kind of stunk - has that always been a rule?

the running game has been going well today

defense needs to work on covering people, but we're ahead of the curve so far

Thing is falcons defense is pretty bad so I'm trying to temper future expectations, but this is a whole new team for sure! Overall everyone is solid, and Teddy has been awesome!

Stepped up and won a game they needed to win. it's really nice to know that they can make mistakes and still win games. Bridgewater has brought the excitement back that was here after week 1. Amazing debut, made so many great throws, rarely made a poor throw or decision.

oh man, when ponder came in - every time he didn't hand it off bad things happened

great win, i'm encouraged - teddy makes things exciting (as does mckinnon, also wright)

hopefully teddy can be right again with the short week
