Patriots Mock Draft

Post#1 » by GMitchell5 » Mon Mar 31, 2014 3:39 am

Who do you guys want to see the Pats pick? Here would be my ideal mock selections based on most current projections

1. Kony Ealy - DE, Missouri (or Dee Ford, Jace Amaro)
2. Dominique Easley - DL, Florida (or Troy Niklas, Stanley Jean-Baptiste)
3. CJ Fiedorowicz - TE, Iowa (or Dion Bailey)
4. Brandon Coleman - WR, Rutgers
4. Christian Kirsey - LB, Iowa
6. Matt Patchan - OL, Boston College
7. Colt Lyerla - TE, Oregon (or Gator Hoskins)

Hopefully they deal Mallet and get atleast a 3rd rounder.

I want to hear more on this Kony Ealy. I saw him listed in a couple of mock drafts going to us and people raving about him and then others have him as a 3rd or 4th round pick. Is the catch that he has more value to 3-4 teams as a OLB?

Seems to be a solid mock draft although I would bet money that Colt Lyerla is blacked out on the Pats draft board. They are not going to touch him regardless of round.

I don't know jack about these college players but was there really no better pick than someone who blew two ACLs?

Apparently he'd be a top 5/10 pick if it weren't for injuries

They must be high on Garoppolo if they took a QB with their second pick

They decided they needed someone sexier than Mallett to take over for Brady.

Brian Stork seems to be an excellent pick. I was never high on Wendell so it's good to see them upgrade that position.

On jimmy G, no clue. Whatever though.

I was thinking that they were going draft Xavier Su'a-Filo in the first round.

I'd still like for them to pick up a TE. Who knows about Gronkowski and other than that they only have Hooman and D.J. Williams (who?).
