Well this is a little better. Anyone know who caused that fumble?

Never mind. Crapfest right now. Would be nice if they could protect Brady for more than two seconds or stop Moreno for once.

Run defense was awful although Moreno seems to have our number..

OLine needs to regroup fast!

Edelman, Vereen, Conolly and Denard all on the IR.

Hopefully nothing serious for anyone.

The IR = Injured Reserve. Meaning that they would be out for at least 6 weeks, and possibly the whole season.

They are merely on the Injury Report (for the week). Here is the list.:

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

DID NOT PARTICIPATE
S Don Jones (hamstring)
LB Jerod Mayo (not injury related)

LIMITED PARTICIPATION
DE Michael Buchanan (ankle)
LB Jamie Collins (thigh)*
OL Dan Connolly (knee)
DB Alfonzo Dennard (shoulder)
WR Julian Edelman (back)
TE Rob Gronkowski (knee)
DT Sealver Siliga (hand)
RB Shane Vereen (shoulder)
OL Ryan Wendell (knee)

OAKLAND RAIDERS

LIMITED PATRICIPATION
CB Chimdi Chekwa (knee)
CB Matt McCants (knee)
LB Nick Roach (concussion)

DID NOT PRACTICE
RB Maurice Jones-Drew (hand)
LB Sio Moore (ankle)
CB Carlos Rogers (knee)
WR Rod Streater (hip)
DE Justin Tuck (illness)

Seriously though? Mankins was OVERRATED this is a great deal for us that frees up tons of money. If Wright produces decently, that's just icing on the cake.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't very sad to see him leave, but its not 2010 anymore, he's choked in the playoffs the past few years, and his pay no longer fits his performance. This is a great, great trade for us AND the Bucs.

Patriots Injury Report: Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014

http://www.boston.com/sports/football/p ... _mcco.html
During the game [last week], safety Devin McCourty (ribs) and defensive tackle Dominique Easley (shoulder) left the game with injuries, and both men were limited in practice according to Wednesday's practice report. Neither one returned to the game after suffering their injuries.

Linebacker Jamie Collins (thigh), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (knee), defensive end Chandler Jones (shoulder), and wide receiver Matthew Slater (shoulder) were also limited for Wednesday's walkthrough.

Neither offensive lineman Cameron Fleming (finger) nor safety Nate Ebner (finger) participated in practice; both men were ruled out on Friday for Sunday's game.

I think Mayo is the far bigger loss, but also something that can be overcome. He's a big run stuffer, but luckily this league has turned into a passing game, and we can place someone like Tavon Wilson, or that Skinner kid in there.

This offense has been on point the last two games. Looks like they got their crap turned around. As much as I loved the defensive years, I can't begin to say how much more I enjoyed watching Brady and co. put up points circa 2007-2012. I've been bored to tears this season for some of these games. Seeing Brady air it out to Tyms, and Lafell break free, and gronk is so much better.

Why did Wright play so little?

The loss of Ridley & Mayo is definitely going to throw a monkey wrench into things.
While we do have others who can step up, it all just seems to be on a tight rope, that's held together by a string and chewing gum.

Love the guy, I'm sure he could come back, but mayo has been made of glass recently. I mean ****, we all thought amendola was truly made of glass, but he doesn't get targeted, so there's no "kids playing ball in the house and break moms vase" chances available

The weird thing is before the past two seasons he played 75 out of 80 games.

What about the Law Firm? I wonder what's wrong with him though, 29 years old, cut by the Bengals, and still isn't signed anywhere.

in the AFC,(and with home field advantage throughout if all goes well) the only team I fear in Foxboro is the RAVENS! ..I would not drop a tear if the Ravens miss the playoffs..
