Quite like my team, despite relying on autodraft I got three of my top desired players!
Vogel is Dutch for Bird.

I'm on a huge learning curve, so I'll take anything I can get :) Pleased to be a part of this though, I always fancied trying this, but it isn't something that is played a lot in Europe (although of course fantasy football is huge!)

I am going to unsticky this now, i don't think it needs to be stickied. You may still use this space for fantasy league talk, not just our league, but any league in general. Thanks to all who joined this season and best to luck to everyone! Looking forward to competing against you all this year again.

On second thought, it has been decided to allow us to keep this sticky to create more activity on the board. So, we'll keep this thread sticky at the top, so go ahead, talk smack, trade talk, or just general fantasy basketball banter.

Hey guys, sorry for hijacking your thread, but I had a question you guys might be equipped best to answer. I have Danny Granger on my team and I don't know whether it's worth waiting on his return. Any advice?

Well, if you read the other thread about 3 threads lower regarding Danny's injury, you might get a good idea. He's injured right now. We hope he comes back healthy and can contribute, but we also anticipate he's going to battle minor injuries all year long.

For fantasy, he's a risk and will be a frustration all year as you won't be able to count on health. Consider him like Marcus Camby in years past; eternally day to day. After that, his role and production is completely unknown. You're dealing with a major question mark and it's all up to your risk aversion or comfort.

Assuming you're playing on Yahoo, which has no IR system (where you can put a player on injured reserve, and sign someone else), then he's not worth keeping. I am in two leagues and he's a free agent in both. Doubt anyone picks him up.

If you have an IR spot, might as well stock him away. Can't hurt. (not sure how espn or some other leagues do it).

He's probably months away from contributing even if he's healthy, the Pacers will need him healthy in the postseason and I think Vogel would want to limit his minutes like what the Knicks is doing with Amare.

The Pacers might as well exploit Lance's potential breakout year.

Did not want to post a new thread so i am posting this here; what's the extent of GHill's shoulder injury? How long will he be out? Thanks!

Day to day. Not severe. Rest based. It's possible that George gets some rest down the stretch, too, as Vogel is comfortable with Watson and Sloan, and Hill is so integral to our success in the playoffs. It's also possible that Vogel tries Turner for some more extended play at PG as he did the other night.

Thank you! i guess it's not wise to pick him up off FA list especially as i am chasing playoff spots down the (fantasy) stretch.
