Could be a nice addition to the bench for minimal $$?

Absolutely I'd love to have him. Great defense and can put in about 15 occasionally

I agree could be a nice addition on a reasonable deal.

He'd be ok enough, for the minimum. He's likely a lesser candidate for playing time than Solo Hill, though, at this point in his career. Re-signing Rasual Butler would be a better option, though, I feel.

Gee can play either wing slot though. I don't trust Butler as a 2.

Josh Harrelson was just waived as well. He tore the Pacers up in a game last year. The Pistons took more offensive rebounds than I had ever seen a Pacer team relinquish. Harrelson was a big part.
Cheap ways to fill out the roster are out there!

we already have a full roster. we've lost Lance, Turner, and Bynum from last year's 15 and added Miles and Rudez so we're at 14 with Lance to be resolved.

I love Harrelson and trumpeted him last year before he signed in China. However, with the addition of Whittington as the developmental guy and keeping Allen, I don't see a spot for Josh unless we dump both Scola and Cope to clear salary.

Scola, West and Copeland to MN for K-Love and Barea...
Then sign Boozer for the vetmin (CHI's paying him anyway).

Re: Alonzo Gee to be waived
Honestly, I think that Love's inability to defend coupled with his unwillingness to do so would be an issue for Pacers players that have lived on defense for so long. Also, it doesn't seem like very many players around the league like K-Love...

I love Gee but I agree, CJ Miles is better than him. And it looks like a major increase in minutes will be awarded to Solomon Hill who both Bird and Vogel seem to like a lot.
