Ian Mahinmi Hurt

Post#1 » by Jake0890 » Fri Aug 29, 2014 8:06 pm

Here's the tweet (in French):
[tweet]https://twitter.com/Kasvilovic/status/505273318178836481[/tweet]

Translation:
"Ian Mahinimi may be unavailable between two and three months, says the doctor of the Blues [French National Team Doctor]."

It's a shoulder injury, he's (obviously) withdrawing from the French team.

FIBA is killing our team.

Guess we'll see what Lavoy Allen can do. More reason that Hibbert is just plain gonna have to step it up this year, too.

2-3 months takes him out thru training camp and almost first Month if the season, no?

Guess we'll get a chance to see Allen at center.

I would bet on getting solid production from LaVoy. But he's not a legit center. More of a pf/c and plays like a lite version of David West. Can Whittington play already?

Well this sucks! We need to start writing in a clause in our contracts no international basketball. If they want a gold medal we can make one for them with a picture of Daffy Duck on it!

But now what? Do we need to get a guy off waivers how about Miroslav Raduljica? He was just traded from The Bucks to the Clippers and the Clips released him or bought him out IDK which. His 2015-16 salary was un guranteed so I'm thinking he couild be had for cheep and un guaranteed.

Yup. Will be interesting to see who will replace Hibbert in the lineup for a bit. Will we play West and Scola together? Or Scola and Allen? Or some duo of West/Scola/Allen/Cope/Rudez together?

Apparently, not as bad as originally thought. Should be better in a couple weeks according to Ian after his visit in Indy.
