I'm happy with the pick.

Does this mean we shop Hibbert now?

Not surprised. Good kid. Hope we can fix his mobility issues.

This is the guy I wanted the most, so I'm happy. He's been working on running and shooting on his own, and he already has the tools to come in and be a lengthy rim protector. He's weaker than Roy for now, but in a couple of years I think he has a chance to surpass what Roy gives us now, which is actually not that easy despite how down on Roy everyone (including Roy) is.

He's the guy I had the pacers taking all along. Question is will Philly trade Okafor to the Celtics or will the Celtics come calling to the Pacers for a trade of Turner who was the other guy they wanted?

Really don't like it. Want to play faster so we use the highest pick we've had in five years to take another slow lumbering guy.

Happy with the pick let's all hold our breath and see if we deal him off to the Celtics.

Not really fan of the pick. Still could always be a trade out there. Just doesnt make sense when we want to go smaller and faster and we make that deal. But if Turner is going to be with the Pacers at the end of the day, Hibbert is good as gone forsure now. He either opts out or will be traded

This. I am hoping Cameron Payne falls to Boston.

If Hibbert opts out we'll have some actual spending power to get someone and get right back into the playoff mix.

we want to go small and run, but we pick a plodding big man with a messed up gait. WTF. Still had lyles, Booker and Payne on the board. We wanted to get rid of Hibbert for a reason right? Why try and reincarnate him. F.

Don't know why so many people hate the pick. He's got top 5 talent. Who knows how good he could be if we can get some of his issues fixed. And I don't think he's "lumbering." Yeah he's a big guy, but if he can learn to run better, he'll be fine in a faster paced offense. He's not Hibbert.

I like it. Indiana is gonna be moving on from Hibbert whether I want them to or not. We won't just magically not need a center. Seems like there is a decent chance he could be mobile, provide more offense than Hibbert eventually, and get up and down the floor yet still provide a lot of that rim protection we need on the inside.

I'm ok with the pick. I probably would've preferred Bobby Portis because of his offensive versatility.

I don't mind the pick. With West gone and Hibbert on the way out (now or next season) this is the replacement. He could actually get some solid minutes in place of West.
