Yep, the AFC East rivalry continues. Jets and Pats in Foxborough for Thursday Night Football. Starts at 8:25PM, and catch it on ESPN (or TSN, if you're living north of the border like myself).

QB: Geno Smith vs. Tom Brady
RB: Bilal Powell vs. Shane Vereen

Key to this game is to keep the pressure on Brady. Containing him will make the game that much more winnable. Also a good opportunity to get the upper hand on them in the division early, rather than vice versa. We'll see what's in store, go Jets!

Our defense literally will have to play a perfect game, and that's just to keep the game close.

With Vereen and Amendola out...and hopefully Gronk too...we may actually have a major advantage against that offense.

So now this morning it was announced that Sanchez has a torn labrum and is now out for the year. So this is, essentially, now Geno's team.

I would really love for the Jets to win this, but...for some reason I can't get into the spirit of tonight's game. Even with all of the Patriots's injuries, the Jets have to play perfect on defense and much better than they are on offense.

Defense obviously, but we also need some sort of running game to control the clock. enough with these wildcats and run right at them....

"enough with these wildcats"? Come on! Don't you love when this team kills its own momentum?

Horrible opening drive, even worse when you think about how Gronkowski, Amendola, and Vereen are out.

Jets can't go 3 and out here...and they did.

Come on, Kerley!

Can't believe Geno missed Hill, and now it's up to a review if we got the TD.

That awkward moment when your score gets taken away twice on the same drive.

The few of Braylon Edwards's catches in the preseason still wanted me to pick him up over Gates or Obamanu. He would be great in the red zone.
