Week 17: Jets @ Dolphins (1PM, Dec 29th, CBS)

Post#1 » by zilby » Sat Dec 28, 2013 2:20 pm

Hello all, I don't have the capacity to make a fancy game thread since I only have my phone, but it's week 17 and the only thing we have to gain from this week is if we beat the Fins and they miss the playoffs. Alternatively, we lose and solidify our draft spot and hope Steelers win.

QB: Geno vs. Tannehill
RB: Ivory vs. Miller
WR: Kerley vs. Hartline

Nothing to play for today folks. We hold exactly zero tiebreakers, so in my opinion tomorrow is a tank day and we wish for better luck next year. Hopefully draft some receivers and perhaps next year we will see better days. Cheers guys, here's to an offseason of hope and improvement.

Just play some scrubs and lose. Not so hard. Players can still play hard.

I'd rather the Jets have been, say, 5-11 than 8-8. What did these last 3 wins accomplish?

Potential in Geno, Nelson is def a receiver we can use more next season. The running game is bonafide weapon for this team and a headcoach that this teams wants to play for.

it does a lot. I don't like Tanking. This jet team is playing for next year. They are young and winning does a lot for confidence. They have enough picks to get the offensive talent they need. We don't need just one player, we need multiple players.. so what good is it going 5-11? The feeling I get from this team going 8-8 I think will carry over to next year, guys are feeling great about themselves and their coach, and that is priceless...

Tanking is for losers..
