Do you think Jacoby will start tomorrow?

Alright, 1st season in 8 years that we didn't lose 11 games

I predicted 8 wins at the beginning of this thread and we can possibly do better...we need to beat Jacksonville next week to have any shot at the playoffs...

Beating the Chargers made my day, make that my week. Now, we just need to beat the Jags and continue to improve.

We HAVE to win the division in order to get into the playoffs, because ain't no way we're getting the wildcard spot.

This is a huge, HUGE game against the Jags. I can't see Kansas City beating the Chargers in San Diego (especially after their pounding against us), so we need to take care of business and pull within one game of first.

Jacksonville really isn't that good, so long as you are able to contain MJD. I like our chances, since I think our run D is actaully pretty damn good. We are just suceptible to giving up long runs, so if that doesn't happen, we should be alright.

McFadden needs to show up, and Campbell needs to play mistake free. Please please please win.

The JAGS started out being favored to win by 3, but at game-time that changed to 4.

We just scored! Nice way to start things off.

EDIT: [EXPLETIVE]!!

Solid victory today.

Darren McFadden needs to protect the football better.

I hope we show up against Indianapolis next week.

SI's 2010 NFL draft re-do...

Raiders take Dez Bryant, Rolando McClain falls to #20.

Dez Bryant was a nice pick by the Cowboys but he's out with injury while McClain has been solid, missed just one game, and has played two very good games in a row while Raiders had a big need stopping the run, so I think I'm ok with McClain there still.

Raiders also have three later round picks slipping into the first round in the re-do: 2nd round pick/starting DE LeMarr Houston at #22, 4th round pick/WR & kick returner Jacoby Ford at #25, and 3rd round pick/starting LT Jared Veldheer at #30.

Jacoby Ford is special.

So excited about this year, playoffs or not. The running game is here, and the defensive line is playing incredibly. A few more upgrades to the offensive line and defensive backs and this team could be very very special.

Campbell has really turned into a nice move. It was a risk, but I think has panned out in the long run considering the Marcus bust thing. He's a good enough QB to get them in the playoffs I believe (if not this year, than next). Has improved tremendously in his play calling and decision making (which was a big problem at the beginning of the season). Also Cable surprisingly has become a pretty good coach (>>> Dingleberry). He has the respect of the players and the coaches (after he punched that one out :) ).

I don't know if I'm sold on Jason Campbell, he still has some proving to do. But his last couple of games have been very solid. Part of it may be the O-line settling down and Veldheer stepping up, getting Gallery back from injury. Satelle got healthy. But he's making better decisions and has added an unexpected ability to scramble, which is always going to be important with this team until the line improves more.

I generally don't like coaching turnover and on top of that I think Cable is doing a good job, hopefully both he and Jackson come back next season.

Patriots get our first this summer. Good thing Raiders got four first round picks last summer

Jacoby Ford, love that kid. There are measurables but there are also guys who can just play football - Jacoby is definitely a baller.

Id be OK with Campbell as a stopgap if we draft one... but if we arent going that route, lets get him some real competition at the very least. McNabb, Kolb, Flynn, Fitzpatrick all might be available.

Indy is favored to win by 3 points!

It's going to be a difficult game to win, but we can do it, and I'd love to see the upset.

Could be a trap game for Indy similar to the Steelers-Jets game this past Sunday
Everyone thought the Steelers were gonna win....

So did anyone see the game cause I didn't?

Well 7-8 isn't bad, I'd like to see a win against the chiefs next week just to give us that .500 record for once. Next year though we're going to win this division
