DeSean and Jones at WRs, Reese and MJD in the back field, Riviera as our catching TE, with Rod/Moore/Holmes as slot or backup WRs, we have weapons on offense to succeed even with McGloin or Pryor. Sure hope Schaub rebounds from last year and perform like it was 2012.

BTW i am not digging his ccccccccc's. if he wants to wise up, this is the time to abandon those dumb ways to make yourself look better in public's eye.

I'm 100% with you.

Call those people. Facebook message them. DM them on Instagram if the relationship means that much to you.
but for Christ's sake....no more finger signage in football games, no more pictures with Nipsey Hussle with finger signage and no instagram handle or any other handles titled "jaccpot".

If he isn't professional enough to do that....then, he is more of a risk than he's worth.

doesn't look like we are going to sign DeSean. the Native Americans of DC are close to signing him from what i hear. oh well Im sure that 10+ mil can go elsewhere now and hope Watkins slide down to us. but even if that doesn't happen, i think with our running game as it looks, Rod - Jones - Moore - Holmes - Riviera - Reese can be competent enough to compete as long as our defense holds up.

if Watkins isn't there and we are not interested in drafting robinson or mack, i can envision us drafting down or reach up for Evans. another big target who many argue made Johnny Football.

I hope McKenzie trade down from #5 to #10 and grab the 2014 2nd Round Pick #45 in addition from the Lions during the 2014 NFL Draft. The Lions move up to get Sammy Watkins to team up with Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. McKenzie trade down to grab an additional 2nd round pick in order to build the defense.

4th Round) Antone Exum/FS/Virginia Tech
5th Round) Traded to the Seahawks for Matt Flynn
6th Round) Traded to the Texans for Matt Schaub
7th Round) Donald Hawkins/LT/Texas
7th Round) Jeremiah George/MLB/Iowa State (From the Cardinals-Carson Palmer Trade)

**********4-3 Defense**********
---------------CB: DJ Hayden, Carlos Rodgers, Taiwon Jones

SS: Tyvon Branch & Usama Young

if there was ever such thing as a "sure thing," Johnny Foosball aint it.
Reggie is doing a fine job....but if he drafts this kid and he sucks...good night.

wouldn't mind Johnny if he fell to second round, but for #5 overall pick or anywhere the top 12, he is just not a value pick. frankly, i don't like him all that much. i think the kid has a big mouth and even bigger ego, doesn't prepare himself well according to what i have read about his behavior at Manning's QB camp, he is below 6 foot and our offensive line is too big for him to see over.

having said all that, he does have the old raider swagger. a definite Al Davis type of player.

man, my favorite current raider is now no more.

oh well, I will just have to find my next favorite, and good luck to TP, but team is what matters most. I do think TP in Seattle is a great fit, even if it is as a backup.

I wonder where we go with our 2nd round pick.

receiver?

edit:
I don't know about Dennis Allen keeping his job. But I feel Reggie is building this team the right way. I would really hate to see him lose his job because he started from scratch to rebuild us and we lost SOME MORE on the way.

I agree 100%. I am still not sold on Allen, but Reggie has done a great job so far. he cleared out all Al's scholarship players on back ended huge contracts, a great pickup of Sio Moore, Mychal Rivera, and the potentials of the OT I can't spell the name of (Manamik? Namanick? Manimack?) and Aorta busted CB i am very hopeful that he comes through this year. now this year, we already added one of the very best player available in Mack, and as long as he doesn't waste another valuable pick on some brick head like Tyler Wilson again, I think he is going to come out looking very good from this draft as well as the free agency.

PS- quake, we have a draft thread...

I am not liking all the Tebow tryout talk that is surrounding the Raiders. unless we are talking about a position change for Tebow to FB or TE, i don't see a place for him in OakTown if he is still insisting to be a passer. Schaub, Carr, McGloin, and Edwards are all a head and neck above Tebow as a passer. but he is a football player, if he is willing to play anything other than a QB I'll be okay with giving him a shot.
