Oakland (4th - AFCW) at Cleveland (3rd - AFCN)

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Fri Sep 25, 2015 1:51 am

Oakland (4th - AFCW) at Cleveland (3rd - AFCN)
Cleveland is favored to win this game by 3.5 points.
This doesn't surprise me at all, but I expect us to win this game, and for us to be 2-1 going into Chicago.

Cleveland had six sacks last week against the Titans.
Our O-line needs to keep that in mind and be ready to give protection throughout the game.
Cleveland looked so-so on offense, Johnny had 2 td's, and Crowell rushed for a touchdown.

Let's get another win as an underdog.

be as it may, but I would think that the advantage going into this game is on us, as they are without continuity at the most important position in football and we have a rising young group of kids led by a poised QB who is coming off of an impressive performance against a 'supposed to be' a good defensive team. I can actually see the possibilities of us going 3-1 beating the Browns and the Bears who is most likely without their starting QB.
ehhhhh f it.

I'm afraid that we won't be able to cover their TEs, and I'm not even sure who their TEs are.

Stop Crowell and Duke, limit miscues on offense, and we should win this game.

I understand the concern for coverage in the middle of the field but you would think that has been an emphasis in practice after getting burnt a few time by the TE seam route and crossing route the last two games. Plus, their TE don't really inspire fear (Gary Barnidge 30yo and Jim Dray 29yo). And they only have 5comp for 68yrds out of 26comp for 403yrds total for the team. Hopefully we get our first defense showcase this week after the offense explosion last week. Then put it all together for Chicago.

TEs are not going to kill us this time.

Sreater a healthy scratch again - we've got our four WRs.

Amari with over 100 yards receiving and over 8 min to go in 2nd quarter... IDK how anyone could have been against drafting this guy! #beasting

Penalties though...

Quick, Fire Nelly.

you were saying something about the touch Teddy put on a TD pass against us in the preseason?

yep.

Was wondering how he was going to respond to the challenge and perform.

Cooper trying to ruin what has been a great game for him with that punt return.

LMFAO.

Nice methodical drive to stick a fork in these guys here….come on boys.

I don't think we need Cooper returning punts though!

I agree Twink.

keep Cooper out of the return game.
the last thing I want is him getting hurt on a punt return or fair catch.
