RIP.

My family has only ever had cats (I'm moderately allergic to dogs, but I still love 'em), but a pet is part of the family and it is very hard to see them in pain. Even harder to let them/see them go. With children around who've grown up around the pet makes things even harder.

Just out of curiosity, do we have any season ticket holders here?

In baseball news: Madison Bumgarner added a HR to his stat sheet today against the A's, tying teammates Gregor Blanco (who has had 160 more ABs than MadBum) and Andrew Susac (69 more ABs) with 3 total on the year (And he got the W!).

That also means Bumgarner has more home runs than Nori Aoki, Casey McGehee, Joaquin Arias, and Hector Sanchez. None of those men are going to be getting calls to be in a HR Derby anytime soon, but impressive none the least.

Goooooooo Bumgarner!

Sorry about your dog MHSL82; we've always had dogs and they are the best, loyal, loving creatures. Don't know what else to say man, but at least the dog enriched your life and I'm sure you made his life a happy one.

After my two girls kept asking me for a puppy and telling me they missed our dog, we decided to get a puppy tomorrow. Golden Retriever as well. We will try to give her as happy of life as we gave our first. I know some outsiders might think it's too quick, but it's not a replacement. When need a dog in our life. And it's been a tough month (not trying to be dramatic).

New life helps to heal from a loss, it's natural and healthy.

I think so, but I suppose anything could be fake.

A co-worker, supposedly on Hoopla. Can't confirm myself obviously, just reported here what I heard.

So THIS is what Colin Kaepernick does during the offseason when he doesn't have the chance to run out of bounds with the ball for a negative gain.

They couldn't even showcase Gronk's personality....just TURRRIBBLE! Madden reeks of desperation.

No other place for this, and it isn't deserving of its own thread, but I flashed back on Mike Iupati's younger brother Andrew, who played DT/NT for Golden West CC, Oregon, and later on at Humboldt State, and I'm really surprised he wasn't given more of a shot to make an NFL team after graduating. I remember he took part in the Niners 3 day rookie minicamp in 2012, but nothing really after that.

During his time at Humboldt State I watched every home game (after going to the gym I'd just walk down to the HSU sideline and stand with the players to watch the games) and the kid was a BEAST. IMO his presence alone improved the team's defense considerably. Granted that since Humboldt State is a D-II school, the opponents were the likes of Dixie State and Central Washington, but he was a dominant force and the Niners haven't shied away from taking chances on guys from smaller schools during Baalke's tenure as GM.

I don't pretend to assume he was 53 man squad worthy from the get go because the team had Sop, RJF & Ian Williams, but with the evolution of Purcell's game, I totally believe Andrew Iupati was PS worthy with the physical and intangible skill set to be knocking on the door of being on the 53 man squad in a year or two. I mean, I don't remember PS body Matthew Masifilo, and TJE is more a DE than NT. And if Andrew Iupati couldn't make the cut for SF, I believe he could have for a DL needy team (of which there are several every year).

I dunno, I'm just really surprised he didn't catch on SOMEWHERE.... Even if only for a TC or two.

Here's some of what I saw.

Finally! I was trying to post all evening yesterday, but I couldn't. I couldn't even get the page to load without it crashing my browser.

Anyone else have that problem?

I feel bad for this teen. This is one thing I wouldn't try (take selfie with gun) because I have bad hand-eye coordination sometimes and might pull the trigger with one hand when trying to push the phone button with the other hand. Or I would underestimate how little force I'd need to fire the gun. I know some people would wonder, innocently, if he also got a picture of it. Darwin Awards, I suppose, but I feel bad for the family and am just happy he didn't shoot his friend (hope he wasn't shot by his friend fronting this story).
