The part about this that I hate is that it's killing any comp pick we're likely to get for him. Going into this past season, I thought we had a shot at getting a fourth-round pick in exchange for losing him. Now, we'll be lucky if he cancels out Pears.

Might their starting OTs be Martin and Oher?

Re-sign? I thought he was under contract through 2015.

"Then, he made a brief appearance during the regular season in a mop-up role and accounted for the team’s only fourth-quarter touchdown pass of the season." :-?

The Titans waived Oher. The Panthers then signed him.

Tits waived him on Feb. 5th. Panthers signed him one month later.

Bears picked up RayMac. Best bargain of the offseason. Sorry if someone's already posted this.

Free agent WR Hakeem Nicks is visiting the 49ers.
It took nearly three weeks, but Nicks is finally getting a sniff on the free agent market. The 49ers, in search of inexpensive depth behind starters Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith, will likely be disappointed in what they find. Lower-leg injuries have completely zapped Nicks' once-promising career, as his last three seasons have been nothing short of poor. No other team has even poked around at Nicks this month.

I don't understand this one. Might be Mario Manningham all over again. We have two young guys in Patton and Ellington. Patton is entering his third year, Ellington second. i would rather give one of these guys a shot to be the third receiver instead of an injury prone and declining player.

I sure as hell hope so. We're going to need him and/or Acker to step up.
