Puke

The pic got deleted quick.....but it's out there. The internet is FOREVER.

One of the stupidest posts ever......coming back versus the choking Pack = the fight against racism and hate. Fail!

Almost as bad as Adrian Peterson saying the NFL is modern-day slavery.

There were rumors that he wanted control of the whole operation but the 49ers said no.

I liked him when he was DC here but the way he left USC ...

Really? I never knew that. Well, at least they got one thing right (going after Pete). Huge bummer. He was the one guy for whom I wanted the Niners to fire Steve Mariucci.

Yea, at the time I was hoping the 49ers would have been able to snag him. I wasn't aware Carroll wanted complete control. I thought he just didn't want to come here cause the organization was so fcked up at the time. I thought Carroll got a bum deal in New England.

This was more around the end of the Nolan years I thought.

USC was still doing well but they weren't the top of the heap any more. In fact, my recollection is that there must have been considerations before Singletary was made a permanent coach, which I opposed from the beginning.

Also have to remember Carroll is from the Bay Area. 49ers seem to miss out on people from this area -- Brady, Rodgers, Holmgren, Carroll ...

Being an SC fan I was hoping they would go after him. It sucks that now I have to hate him. I could have gotten over the fact that he bailed on the program had it at least been to the Niners.

Interesting article, basically on how the Hawks are winning in spite of Wilson. Though it's more that his numbers are better than they should be, not that he's necessarily awful.

Beating Wilson. Not really news to those of us who have seen him play a lot.

LOL, go post this on the Hoop General Message Board and you will get massacred by the Hawk fans there who compare Wilson to Montana

This is not surprising at all, the 49ers were successful this way. The 49ers didn't blitz him much and when contained in the pocket was not very good. Their defense and our offense is what aided him the most. I hope the Hawks make him the highest paid QB in the league. Arizona was very aggressive with the bliz against Seattle in their home game and it backfired.

Yeah, I was surprised to see that he is blitzed so much. That's the last thing I'd do against him. I'd even consider rushing three and using a fourth guy to spy him - though if you're only rushing three, those guys need to genuinely rush him, not just totally sell out for contain like the Packers did on the 3rd and 19 he converted after about seven seconds in the pocket. I don't think it's fair to say he's not a very good QB, but I definitely don't think he's complete at this point. Press their receivers at the line to take away the quick pass, play a man-heavy scheme so guys don't find the soft spot in the zone, and keep him in the pocket and I think he's mediocre at best.

I hope Gronk scores four touchdowns against this group.

Well he's no Kelvin Benjamin, Jeremy, so I'm sure you won't be too badly embarrassed.

It is stupid petty crap like this that makes you want to root against the Seahawks. From the brick to the airplane banner

Return to San Francisco 49ers
