Interesting conundrum for the league:

They dismissed the charges because they couldn't find the victim who, in the meantime, had reached a civil agreement with Hardy. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that agreement specified not testifying against him.
What does the league do with this? Is he still subject to discipline? Real double-edged sword. If he is, what does it say about the legal process playing out? And if he's not, it's a strong message to NFL players that you can basically act with impunity so long as you pay off the victims. That's got to be about the worst outcome they could have gotten.
