The @Seahawks could lose 2nd round pick as NFL considers penalties for failure to disclose Richard Sherman's knee injury. More on @ESPNNFL

Anything that hurts the seahawks is good news!

That would be a big blow to them.

They need to rebuild their offensive line for 10th time and the Falcons game showed their depth isn't as strong as it was just a couple of years ago.

I wouldn't go as far as to say their window is closing but it will close if they don't start doing a better job of replenishing that roster

While I am rooting for Howard/Davis are 2nd pick options, if Robinson is indeed available, how do we pass on that? future LT right there, how good? idk....

Cam Robinson in the 2nd would be insane. That's pipe-dreamy, even for me.

This guy in the 2nd? Lol...

If he's there even past the first 15 picks, trading up would be very smart.

P.S. Remember when David Decastro was there for the trading, but the Niners sat tight & took AJ Jenkins instead? Still almost as mad about that as I am about Wilfork. :banghead:

I hear people say that in most years. I'm not sure it's true this time. I think Trubisky has it all, and I think he's going to be a top-10 QB in the league by year 3.

Watson looks pretty dang good too. I don't know about great, but he looks pretty good IMO.

Not sure about Kizer.

Well they have used 8 draft picks on oline in the last three drafts. Heck a first and third round pick in the last one. I'm not convinced they would finally draft a good one with that second.

—With a new top 300 Big Board taking shape, I sent the list around to multiple NFL scouts for feedback. When doing this, I'm basically looking for any outliers I've missed and need to do more film work on. The most telling reply came from a personnel director who said, "Way too many quarterbacks in the top 30. And you're too high on [Mitch] Trubisky." Trubisky is the top quarterback on the current board and ranked No. 10 overall.

I don't think they should reach, since next year's class is suppose to be better.

But if Shanahan and the new GM want to bet their tenures on Trubitsky or any other QB who are considered big reaches by man, then they can make their bed.

Of course they have big guaranteed contracts so it's not that much of a risk for them.

But you have to trust them, since they've had results in their careers so if they want to made educated bets, you have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I guess anyways.

The kid has some skills. Thought he could have lasted until the 3rd or even the 4th round. I guess not:

Gerald Everett - TE - Jaguars

NFL Media draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah writes that South Alabma TE Gerald Everett "belongs in the discussion as the top player at his position."

Jeremiah is of the belief that Everett should be spoken of in the same breath as potential first-round/early second-round tight ends O.J. Howard and Jake Butt. Noted the analyst, "He's extremely athletic and he makes some special plays on tape." The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Everett will be on hand for Senior Bowl festivities next week. Should he perform well during the practice week, Jeremiah sees him as "[having] a chance to vault up the board."

All year I liked Corey Davis as much as any WR prospect since AJ Green. I think he's as good as Tampa's Mike Evans and possibly even better. But it appears that the cat is out of the bag, so he won't be a 49er. :( :( :(

So now I'm taking another long, hard look at JuJu Smith-Schuster. I see a lot of Jalen Strong in him, but he's faster, bigger & has better hands. He's a very good blocker too. He's not a burner, but he's very physical.

With all the talent at DL, TE & CB, he might slip into the mid 2nd round. Maybe even the 3rd but probably not. He's starting to look like good value. And I always like bigger guys who could lose 10 pounds & still be pretty thick because players tend to lose weight over the course of the season.

I don't know anything about the guy off the field, though. That's the one thing that makes the draft a crap shoot to people who don't have inside information on these players (that and steroid use).
