I agree with that comparison:

Jarrad Davis - LB - Gators

An NFC pro personnel director told NFL Media's Bucky Brooks that Florida LB Jarrad Davis is "a hard-nosed player who has a nasty streak that you need to excel at the position."

"Plus, he makes plays from numbers to numbers and has a bit of thump to him," the personnel director said. "Someone's going to get a good football player when they get him." Brooks sees the 6-foot-1, 238-pound Davis as similar to 49ers LB NaVorro Bowman on tape, writing that "[f]rom his nastiness to his tackling ability and toughness, Davis has a game that's reminiscent of the perennial Pro Bowler prior to his injury." In addition to this Bowman comp, we have also seen Davis' game likened to that of Bobby Wagner and Shaq Thompson.

It wouldn't shock me if we drafted in with our second round pick, or we move up back in the first to draft him in the late 20s. Similar to what the Broncos did last year with Paxton Lynch:

Davis Webb - QB - Golden Bears

Cal QB Davis Webb told CBS Sports' Sean Wagner-McGough that "numerous" teams have been telling him that he is a first-round talent.

Wagner-McGough clarifies that "numerous" label by writing that we are talking a double-digit number of teams. It is important to note that simply being told that he is a first-round talent does not guarantee a first-round pick. However, at the very least, the 6-foot-5, 209-pounder should probably be considered a Day 1 sleeper at this juncture. An AFC area scout told NFL Media's Lance Zierlein that he believes that Webb possesses the football intelligence to undo some bad habits should he land with the right team.

6-5 209? That's lighter than Goff isn't it?

That's a typo. He was 229 at the combine after being listed at 230 in college. Although, very foolishly he did have this exchange in an interview during the '13 season:

A-J: For several days?

Webb: I lost 40 pounds in three days. About 45 pounds, actually.

A-J: So you went from — ?

Webb: 212 to 168. Somewhere in there, give or take. Because I was 212 one day. By the next day, I was like 206. I was like, “OK, that’s a lot of weight, but, you know, it’s fall camp.” The next day I was 178. The next day I was 168.

And then I got told I wasn’t going to be the starting quarterback for week one, so that probably made it worse, too. (Smiles) Got stressed.

But it was all worth it, the adversity I had.

And Goff came into the combine at 6'4 flat/215. Played lighter than that, though.

Forrest Lamp - T - Hilltoppers

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline reports that the Packers have interest in Western Kentucky OL Forrest Lamp.

Pauline writes that Lamp is being viewed more and more as a solid bet for the first round, meaning that if the Packers wanted to take the plunge, they would likely need to do so at pick No 29. That is assuming that Lamp is even around by the point. Pauline additionally passes along that both the Vikings and Seahawks are keen on the 6-foot-4, 309-pounder. The Falcons, Panthers and Titans have all put Lamp through private workouts.

We should use one of our 6th round picks on him:

Jourdan Lewis - DB - Wolverines

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline relays that "[m]ost on hand" for Michigan's pro day believed that CB Jourdan Lewis' pending misdemeanor domestic assault charge will "push him into the very late rounds."

Lewis was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault following an argument with his live-in girlfriend earlier this month. He has plead not guilty to that charge and is next set to appear in court on April 12. While Lewis is working his way through legal troubles that are torpedoing his draft stock, he at least showed out well for his pro day work, with Pauline writing that the corner "looked exceptional in position drills and was head and shoulders above everyone else."

Nick Chubb - RB - Bulldogs

Georgia senior RB Nick Chubb has been running without a brace or wrap on his knee this spring.

Chubb had himself a somewhat down 2016 season after being waylaid by a serious knee injury the previous October. He ultimately finished out the campaign rushing for 1,130 yards and eight touchdowns. The 5-foot-10, 228-pounder subsequently opted to return to school for 2017 rather than jump to the NFL Draft. When asked how hurt he was during the 2016 season, Chubb gave a pretty fair assessment of his mindset, saying, "It’s just kind of different. I don’t know. I wasn’t hurt at all. I don’t know how to explain it. Maybe range of motion? Being able to move more, move quicker and better laterally. I think it was mental."

Jake Butt - TE - Wolverines

Michigan TE Jake Butt believes that collegiate athletes should be able to profit off of the use of their likeness.

"Why can I see 'I Like Jake Butt and I Cannot Lie,' I see those shirts and I'm living paycheck-to-paycheck in college. Who knows? Heaven forbid something happens in the NFL, can I really benefit off of it when it was at the most? No, I can't," Butt said during Michigan's pro day on Friday. His words hold just a little more weight, as he suffered major MCL and ACL injuries when the Wolverines took on Florida State in the Orange Bowl this past season. Said Butt, "I should be the example of why college athletes should be getting paid in college or why I can't use my name to benefit off my likeness in college."

Teez Tabor - DB - Gators

Florida CB Teez Tabor's fastest unofficial forty was clocked at 4.75s at the Gators' pro day workout on Tuesday.

This is a disheartening development for his evaluation. Tabor began moving out of the first-round conversation earlier this month when he clocked a 4.62s forty at the NFL Scouting Combine. He needed to improve upon that number at his pro day workout, but strangely regressed upon it instead. To put his time in perspective, it was slower than 6-foot-4, 280-pound FSU DE DeMarcus Walker's 4.76 showing. "The magic number for corners is 4.60. Anything above that, and the alarm goes off," Jeremiah said. "That could have a major impact. People can say the 40 is overrated, but the one position where it matters most is corner. Teams will take his best time, which was at the combine -- his magnet on everybody's board will say 4.62 -- but this was a big opportunity to help himself, and he didn't." NFL Network's Mike Mayock's dropped Tabor out of his top-five rankings at the position.
