That 62+% inside zone number for the 49ers last year was the highest percentage by any team in any category. On the flip side, the 1.1% man number is the lowest of any team in any category as well.

Meh I'm not buying it.

Florio loves to pull that league source or league circle card to make something sound credible when it's just a bunch of other team's front offices guessing what the Browns might do.

And the Browns aren't going to give up that draft capital and cross their fingers that Cousins wants to do a long-term deal with them. The trade only goes through if compensation is agreed upon and Redskins give the Browns permission to work a LTD out with Cousins.

Not the best but an upgrade over what we have, agreed?

For what I believe Shanahan will want to do, based on history, yes I would think so.

And as I said this morning there's parts of Kilgore I like and maybe even like better than Zuttah but given where this is PROBABLY headed, Zuttah is probably the safer call if he comes in right.

I'm happy with this. At the very least we have some more depth. I guess Kilgore can play G if one of our starters gets hurt.

Very mild fun fact. Zuttah's final year at Rutgers was Anthony Davis' freshman year. Davis started from game 6 on that year but played in every game that year, too.

Should be an easy adjustment for Zuttah because of Kubiak right?

That's according to overthecap. Spotrac has it below that. Somewhere in the 3s.

Center is one position I thought we could use an upgrade so I'm pleased that they are bringing in competition for the spot.

And Kilgore isn't exactly know for his durability so having some decent depth doesn't hurt as well.

Reasonable move, especially with the team cutting Martin. OL isn't great in this draft (honestly not sure how center looks, specifically), and we've got more needs than we'll fill this year. I think Kilgore has some ability, but he's been way too injury prone to rely on.

Thankfully Garnett has experience with outside zone at Stanford. At this point Bradley's is probably going to be the weakest link. Hopefully we can find an upgrade and maybe Kilgore will be it.

Have not ALWAYS liked him but I've come to like him the last couple years and now really respect him. I know I could throw darts and hit a couple guys I like more who are available but coming from somebody who is all-time hard and all-time picky on RBs, he's on the short list of guys I've come to respect RECENTLY. Really like his ability as a receiver in the open field.
