What do you think the Hawks should do with Metcalf?
I think there's a real possibility now that they deal him.
I wouldn't trade him unless I got a top 10-15 pick. I think if you got back the Jets pick #10. You do it. Eagles pick at 15?

He’s hearing Seattle’s preference is to trade down from the #9 pick to acquire more stock to aid their rebuild. He noted that trading a receiver (D.K. Metcalf) could do the same job of generating draft capital.

The good teams find a way to manipulate the cap. We're not one of those at the moment.
I think it's pretty clear now that they're going to deal Metcalf before the draft. If someone bites. Gather as much draft capital as possible. There are just too many holes to fill on this team. The gap in talent (NFC West) is continuing to widen. Every indication is that they intent to trade the 9th pick (move back). He’s hearing Seattle’s preference is to trade down from the #9 pick to acquire more stock to aid their rebuild. Their options are limited.

ugg slippery slope to try to rebuild though they did do it to start an epic run once before.

Once you decide to move on from Russ, I don't think they really have a choice.
The offensive line is a complete shambles. How are you going to fix it? Especially when your coach wants to run the ball & control the clock. You refuse to address it in free agency. So It has to be a priority in the draft. Having an extra 1st could go a long way in fixing it. Also with the depth at WR, you can grab one on day two of the draft.
