Things to Watch:

1. Texans #2 D vs the banged up O-Line
Watt vs Bowie & McQuistan? Run Wilson Run!

2. Hot Reads
Notice the theme? Yeah I expect we will need lots of quick hits. That means Tate, Miller, Baldwin, Lynch, Turbin, and Wilson are going to need to look lively.

3. Legion of Boom
Schaub has been less than stellar this year...turnovers could really help us get short fields vs a tough D. It would be nice to see some LOB int's.

4. The strengthening pass rush
Bennet has been the story, but Clem is back, Cliff is doing some things, McDonald is bull rushing, and this is the last week before Irvin comes back, so some guys may be motivated to shore up their minutes.

Predictions-
Seattle 24 Texans 21

I don't think this concern can be overstated. The FOX pregame show skimmed past this issue as all the "analysts" picked SEA to win. But missing your starting tackles and center against Houston? With two rookies likely seeing much of the action? I'm concerned.

Our defense will have to win this one for us, I think.

russell is getting murdered out there, and houston is not having any trouble moving the chains. one drive ended with a tip drill INT in the redzone, houston scored on another, and now they're nearing the redzone again.

Our LBs are getting roasted in coverage right now. KJ just fell down and gave up a TD right as I was getting ready to complain about it.

spot on. the middle of the field is open all day for schaub.

thank god the defense forced a FG there, this thing might have been over with a TD. a clock-guzzling touchdrive drive to go into the break with a little momentum would be appreciated here.

I don't get calling two runs up the middle on 2nd and 3rd down at the end of that drive. An opportunity wasted.

On the bright side was trying to get up and they were keeping him down. I'm hoping it's just a stinger since they're overly cautious with head/neck issues.

TD Lynch! That was an amazing drive...RW took over. Somehow, we're still in this thing.

HELL of a second half/OT by the defense. they had to just about pitch a shut out and they manned up and did it.

i thought this was a loss going in. no okung/unger (and gia)? against watts and cushing? bad medicine. but i love being wrong!

I'd chalked it up as a loss too, but wasn't too concerned about it since we'd still be 3-1 and it was an early road game against a dominant defensive front seven. In the grand scheme of things, it wouldn't be horribly damaging to our playoff odds and games like that happen. Historically speaking, we just don't win games like this.

This is a different team, though. Damn. They fought through it. Statistically this is probably one of the worst games of RW's career as a passer, but he came through when needed and his scrambling in the 2nd half was dynamite. Lynch ran as hard as ever. The defensive line started getting pressure in the 2nd half and boy did Schaub wilt.

And was there a sight better than a shoeless Sherman running towards the end zone to tie it up?

This is a team to be feared. I love it.

so fun to watch (in the second half). RW was like tebow out there in the only positive sense you could ever mean. ugly but effective.
