The Seahawks go down to Atlanta for a rematch of the hotly contested game that saw Seattle pull out a close one with some ref controversy. Versus the Lions, the Seahawks looked like their old playoff juggernaut selves with ground pound working and acceptable OLine play, but we have learned that the Seahawks are Jeckyl and Hyde this year

The Falcons are a deadly offensive team with weapons all over the place and an MVP candidate QB. Their fanbase feels pretty confident going into the match and their players are already working the refs
Falcons' Julio Jones won't shy away from alerting refs vs. Seahawks

Jones said he would have no problem throwing up his hands and hunching his shoulders if such an incident happens again this time.

When we're in a game, I'll go look at them like that and say, 'You didn't see it?' if they didn't see it," Jones told ESPN.com. "I'm not going to sit up there and cry about anything. It is what it is. But you've got to alert them. Some refs just let you play, too. It's like, 'All right, you're going to let us play? Then we're going to go out here and play. If you're going to call it, call it. Just let me know how you're going to officiate this game.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn had a discussion with NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino after the Week 6 no-call. In the big picture, the loss didn't prove costly. At 11-5 and as the NFC's No. 2 seed, the Falcons secured home-field advantage over the No. 3 seed Seahawks (10-5-1). However, getting clarity on such penalties moving forward was the reason for Quinn's discussion with Blandino, a discussion Quinn opted to keep private. The coach hasn't address such penalties with his team this week.

Danny's .02:

1. Help Terrell by hitting Ryan
Clark, Avril, and especially Bennet need to go HAM this game. Drop some licks on Ryan and get him dancing so that he can put the laser scope on Terrell down the middle.

2. More 'Hawks per gallon
Last time Seattle played the Falcons there was no Chancellor, Clark, Fant, Rawls, Prosise, Russel was gimpy, and Bennett was injured on a dirty play early. That is not a small amount of talent to be missing. Give us most of those guys back and we hope to show them we are better than when they last met us.

3. Line change?
What was different VS the Lions for the O-line? Waaay more ISO and power blocking and less zone scheming. Makes sense for a bunch of youngsters.

4. Sherman vs Jones
A- Will Sherm shadow Jones this week or stay on his side? B-While it's true Sherm got a call last time, he also got a face mask from Julio no one noticed. Sherman can call out coaches and play the heel with reporters all he wants if he can put Jones on lock.

5. Xman of the game prediction:
Jeremy Lane- he's had some awful games this year, but he's recovered over the last few. Shead and Sherman will have their hands full, but if Lane can make a solid contribution to both nickel coverage and run stopping when he's out there, Ryan will have to test Sherm, Shead, and *gulp* the deep middle.

Predictions-
Seattle 21 Falcons 27
*home cooking

We really need to improve the o-line this offseason
