Looks like the Cubs/Carlos Zambrano contract talks are on hold due to the impending sale of the club. I'm rooting for the talks to fall through all-together so that Big Z will be available by July 31 or during the off-season. Keep your fingers crossed, Met fans

That would be the front line pitcher that we need oh so desperately. Zambrano would be an amazing addition however I cant see the Cubs letting him go as he is one of the pitchers that can stay healthy.

Skankees will outbid us for him but I am really excited to see the talent within our organization. We dont always need the big name FA players to win. I want to see our talent grown inside the organization.
