49ers release LeGree and re-sign Matthews to practice squad
The 49ers have signed safety Mark LeGree to the practice squad and released wide receiver John Matthews, the team announced Tuesday.on NOV.15 .

LeGree, 22, was a teammate of 49ers rookie guard Daniel Kilgore at Appalachian State, where he was a three-time All-American.

LeGree continues his trip around the NFC West; he was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round this year and promptly released after training camp. Then he signed with the Cardinals on Sept. 21 and was released Oct. 5

But two weeks later was released by the 49ers and re-signed wide receiver to John Matthews to the eight-player unit.

Matthews collected 46 catches, 1,049 yards and 13 touchdowns when played for coach Jim Harbaugh at the University of San Diego from 2005-06. He is one of four members of the practice squad who played for Harbaugh in college. He joins center Chase Beeler, tackle Derek Hall and tight end Konrad Reuland, who played for Harbaugh at Stanford.

San Francisco 49ers Wide receiver Braylon Edwards injuried his knee and shoulder, so that he has been limited in practice . the movement is necessary. Which indicated he might benefit from taking time off to fully heal in advance of the playoffs.

Matthews, obviously, gives the Niners another receiver to run routes in practice. Beyond Edwards, San Francisco’s available receivers include Michael Crabtree, Ted Ginn, Kyle Williams, Brett Swain and practice squadder Joe Hastings.

Andy Reid will start DeSean Jackson on Thursday
Coach Andy Reid confirmed that wide receiver DeSean Jackson will start Thursday's game against the Seahawks when asked directly about Jackson's status.

An alligator-armed Jackson was benched in the fourth quarter Sunday after dropping a couple of touchdown passes.of last week's loss to the New England Patriots.

He was benched two weeks ago for missing a team meeting . But the punishment won't carry over to Week 13. When the Philadelphia Eagles play the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, he will be in the starting lineup.

He'll line up opposite Riley Cooper in most two-wide sets as Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) continues to heal. In two games with Vince Young as the starting quarterback, Jackson has 10 catches for 161 yards and no touchdowns.

In addition to this, Vick who broken his ribs and still rest , so that Vince Young maybe still in Vick’s place getting a third straight. Quarterback Michael Vick did not practtice, althought he can do some throwing on the side Tuesday

Philadelphia Eagles Safety Nate Allen, who had a rotten game Sunday, would get another start. And Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin also missed practice with his lingering hamstring and shoulder injuries, and running back LeSean McCoy (toe) and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (knee) were limited.
