Good recap mkwest, cause im in Aus i cant see the full games. From the Boxscore though it seemed like Bledsoe and NCM were very good besides Bledsoes turnovers that is. Aminu's stats looked alright, how did he get most of his points i was wondering though?

Im hoping Aminu has better games for us the next few summer league games, im hoping he'll suprise us all.

LOL just remember, these losses don't count.

Our guys have a lot to work on. Thankfully there is about 3 more months before the season begins. Bledsoe and Caner-Medley were our 2 best players tonight. Bledsoe has a lot of potential and can be a fun and effective player, but he needs to hone his skills. He was great a getting to the rim, but has to learn to play in control and look for others. 10 turnovers put a damper on his 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. NCM finished with 17 points, 3 of 4 from downtown & 6 of 6 from the line. He's picking up where he left off last season.

Aminu & Warren didn't stand out much earlier in the game, but had moments later on. Aminu needs to keep working on his jumper, and become a little more aggressive. He has a few more games left to show something, but he is not a starter based on this game. If it continues, then the team needs to seriously look at at adding another 3 just in case. In the beginning, I had forgot about Warren for awhile until I looked at the boxscore. He didn't get many minutes in the first half, but had a stretch in the 2nd where he had a string of nice plays on both sides of the ball. He finished with 10. I'd like to see him get more opportunities in the next 4 games.

Jordan got to the line, but as usual he wasn't able to get anything done there. I hope he regroups for the next game. Tonight he was trying to do too much imo. Instead of taking jumpers, he needs to be working closer within his range. We tried to feed him the ball, but the offense should not run through him at this point. Sofo didn't see much time as I would have hoped. It's a different game from what he's used to, so he'll need some time to acclimate himself. He wasn't as bad on the boards as you would think based on critiques of his game.

These guys have a day off before their next game. The practice in between should do them some good.

Well put. On to the next game...

I was very impressed with Eric Bledsoe. I knew when we acquired him that he'd become a favorite of mine, and after tonight, he's well on his way. He does need to cut down on the TOs though, but that'll come with time. Chalk it up to nerves in this one.

I was absolutely not surprised with Sofo's play at all. I don't know why we hang on to this guy. Not a fan. Period.

Aminu seemed a bit lost to me, but he had his moments. To be honest, I don't really see how this guy was a lottery pick. But maybe I'm being a bit harsh and I'll eat my words later on. At least, I hope so. No more Yaroslav Korolev's, please.

This Medley guy was very impressive to me. He missed a few easy layups, but what is he doing in the paint anyway? Stay out there and shoot them 3's! I'd love to see him make the team.

Although we were beaten badly tonight, I'm excited to watch these young players develop over the course of Summer League and into training camp. Let's go Clips!

If he keeps it up I'll be extremely disappointed we don't sign him. Just make Cook our 15th man.

Cook hasn't even shown why he deserves to be in the NBA anymore. What a waste of 2 million as well as a roster spot. I wouldn't be surprised if NCM is better on pretty much every aspect. I don't know what the FO was on when they decided to waste that money on Cook.

SportsFan215 wrote:Aminu is already disappointing me, and I wanted Paul George originally.

Give him another couple of games before you write him off. I have to admit George is looking like a pretty good pick at this point. I hope Aminu can learn, and learn fast.

And I liked Bledsoe out there. He reminds me of Mike Taylor a little bit because he was out of control a lot, but definitely seems more talented.

I hope for our next game we keep it a bit more competitive.

Bledsoe lost so many balls off the dribble, I assume he was excited and had very sweaty hands.
Aminu didn't look interested in the game.

I'm getting more and more pessimistic everyday.

That Cook signing is pissed me off a lot. I dont want Sofo to be signed if he is gonna play like this. No better than DJ and Im not really a big fan of DJ either.

I only really the Sith signing and I can live with Foye off the bench. But other than that, pretty lame off season.

Thinking about how Aminu played last night I wasn't that impressed either but I'll give him some time. I knew when we drafted him that he wasn't going to be our starting SF. Hopefully he picks up his play as the Summer League progresses.

What do you want Sofo to do in a summer league game? There is no offensive sets in a summer league game, which basically means it a pick up game where they run up and down the court. He is almost 300 lbs, and his strengths will not show much in a game like this. It's one game, dont judge a big man on a game like this. These scouts know that he is in the SL for half court sets and rebounds...

I'm hoping that DJ starts dominating, seeing as he has the most experience so far on our team.

I hope aminu suprises me, cause i was pretty down on him when we drafted him.

Looking for everybody to bounce back. Hopefully Bledsoe cuts down on the TO's and Aminu plays much more aggressive.

I do hope we play better in this game. We have a lot of young players and the leader of this Summer League team is DeAndre Jordan. Hopefully some of those jitters and turn overs are worked out for this evenings game. I'll be watching and hoping for a win.
