Posted this on the GB, but here are some Blake post-up statistics comparing him to his peers:

Here's his comparison to other guys from the 3-9 feet area (via Hoopdata):
LaMarcus Aldridge: 2.6 FGA, 53.1% FG, 45.6% Asst
Paul Gasol: 3.3 FGA, 50.0% FG, 53.5% Asst
Zach Randolph: 2.5 FGA, 50% FG, 43.8% Asst
Blake Griffin: 3.6 FGA, 45.2% FG, 43.5% Asst
Paul Millsap: 2.7 FGA, 44.6% FG, 43.5% Asst
Carl Landry: 2.0 FGA, 43.6% FG, 45.8% Asst
Luis Scola: 3.5 FGA, 42.8% FG, 28.8% Asst
David West: 2.8 FGA, 41.0% FG, 25.4% Asst
Kevin Love: 2.6 FGA, 40.0% FG, 44.2% Asst
Josh Smith: 2.4 FGA, 39.8% FG, 25.5% Asst
Elton Brand: 1.9 FGA, 39.1% FG, 69.4% Asst
Andre Bargnani: 1.6 FGA, 38.1% FG, 62.5% Asst
Chris Bosh: 2.2 FGA, 37.5% FG, 46.2% Asst (Toronto numbers a lot better)
David Lee: 3.9 FGA, 36.0% FG, 45.1% Asst
Dirk Nowitzki: 1.0 FGA, 32.7% FG, 25% Asst
Amare Stoudemire: 2.3 FGA, 32.0% FG, 32.3% Asst (super down year for him)
Nene: 1.1 FGA, 26.7% FG, 37.5% Asst

(Blake is fourth out of all those guys in FG% and takes the 2nd most attempts from that 3-9 foot area after David Lee)

Here's the Synergy stats on "post-up" (arranged by FG%):
Carl Landry: 53.9% FG, 1.09 PPP, 3rd (52.8% FG, 1.04 PP, 17th last season as a Hornet | 49.6% FG, 0.87 PPP, 82nd as a King (turnover issues) so no, the FG% and PPP when in the right role is not a fluke)
LaMarcus Aldridge: 51% FG, 0.98 PPP, 14th
Pau Gasol: 50% FG, 0.99 PPP, 13th
Andre Bargnani: 47.7% FG, 0.96 PPP, 19th
Blake Griffin: 46% FG, 0.84 PPP, 56th
Dirk Nowitzki: 45.1% FG, 0.94 PPP, 25th
Luis Scola: 44.4% FG, 0.81 PPP, 69th
Elton Brand: 43.4% FG, 0.85 PPP, 50th
David Lee: 43.2% FG, 0.86 PPP, 47th
Kevin Love: 43.1% FG, 0.93 PPP, 30th
Amare Stoudmire: 42.1% FG, 0.84 PPP, 56th
David West: 41% FG, 0.88 PPP, 43rd
Nene: 39.6% FG, 0.67 PPP, 108th
Chris Bosh: 38.5% FG, 0.85 PPP, 50th
Paul Millsap: 38.5% FG, 0.81 PPP, 69th
Josh Smith: 38.5% FG, 0.79 PPP, 76th
Zach Randolph: 36.8% FG, 0.78 PPP, 81st (he's been injured, 44.3% and 0.89 PPP last season)

(Ranked by FG%, Blake trails only Carl Landry and the three guys with the longest reach (LA - 9'2, Bargs - 9'2, Pau - who knows, but it's long), all who are also vastly superior shooters. When we look at PPP, he doesn't look so hot, that's mainly because he's by far the worst FT shooter of the bunch, and turnovers play a part in it. Ranked by PPP he's t.11th out of the 17 guys)

More advanced footwork and post moves are great and all, but there's only so much Blake can do with his size, length, etc. A jumpshot and solid FT shooting is his priority area of work right now. That along with defense will really make him an even higher impact player. Blake needs a shooting coach to be stuck to his hip the whole summer.

Looks like Bledsoe's getting back his old form again. I remember when Baron went down last year (or whatever year he went down) and Bledsoe was forced into the starting line up, he would have a few highlight plays of his own. Good to see he's showing some of it again, because that's another weapon we have when he's effective.

And yeah, Mo's now the odd man out of our rotation. I feel bad for the guy, but circumstances have changed our team needs.

I love Mike Smith's reaction to this. I can't help but laugh every time I hear him scream. He's gotten excited like this a few times before, but this was the loudest he's screamed while commentating. He should continue this trend, him and Lawler reacting to big plays like that make the plays seem that much more impressive.
