Kirilenko is returning to the NBA, not sure if it will be with the Nets since they don't have a ton of money, but he will help some team. Could make sense for Minnesota unless I forgot one of their signings.

Who else?

I could see him winding up in Minny after the trade the made earlier.

They should of just traded for Iggy if they're really planning on giving 9M /yr to Kirilenko..

Who would they trade for him though? I guess it was Derrick Williams, but Philly already has a tweener forward coming off the bench, do they really want to trade for another?

Timberwolves:
Ricky Rubio / Luke Ridnour
Brandon Roy / J.J. Barea
Andrei Kirilenko / Chase Budinger
Kevin Love / Derrick Williams
Nikola Pekovic / Need a backup C

The guard position needs a little change with all the small guys, and they won't run the lineups exactly like that, but that is a nice looking team even taking into account that Roy is the slower not as good version of himself.

Now that the contract is confirmed to be only 2 years it looks much better.

Wonder when they'll sign Roy.

The Utah Jazz filled their GM vacancy with Dennis Linsdey (former San Antonio Assistant GM). It's a good pick up for them. I can't say I'm not a little disappointed it wasn't us.

I'm glad that we went with 3 Men and a little GM job instead of considering someone like Hennigan. Orlando is dumb as hell as far as I'm concerned. Philly filled a need and finally moved Iggy after flirting with the idea for years. They will be an interesting team to watch. Denver got rid of Harrington and added Iggy for their involvement. They're further solidifying their playoff spot. Kupchak must have Vinny-like charm on the phone as opposed to the dinner table.

DJ better be putting in some serious work.

A little random tidbit...

Former Clipper HC, Kim Hughes, has joined Stotts' staff in Portland. Maybe his association with Neil helped him out. I'm glad that he's getting another opportunity after a 2 year hiatus. I'm sure they'll have him working with Leonard.

Adam Morrison has been invited to participate in Portland's training camp. Did Neil have more interest in him than everyone else in the FO?

Out-of-nowhere retirement for Boston's Keyon Dooling...

The Boston Celtics announced today that they have waived guard Keyon Dooling.

“Keyon has decided that he has given the NBA twelve good years and that it’s time to pursue other interests and spend more time with his family,” said Dooling’s representative Kenge Stevenson. “He will never forget his time in Boston with the Celtics.”

“We’ll miss Keyon’s spirit and energy, both on and off the court,” said Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge. “The whole Celtics family wishes him well as he enters the next phase of his life.”

Sam Amick

Dooling spent the first 4 years of his career with the Clippers.

Dooling quietly had himself a solid career. I remember using Dooling in NBA 2K3. He was a beast in that game.
