unless it's pushing on a lung or something....i expect him to put on a flak jacket and play.

these guys hate the Clippers too much for a broken rib to get in the way..
but if not....i just hope we don't play down to the competition....because this team has NO shot of beating us without Bogut.

Bledsoe's boys are eliminated. Great season by them though compared to what was expected. Jeff Hornacek did a very good job and happy for Bledsoe to finally have an opportunity to run his own team.

It's disappointing that they didn't make it, but they far exceeded just about everyone's expectations. 47 wins is good enough for the playoffs most seasons, but the West is just stupid competitive. Phoenix will be another year experienced and have multiple 1st round picks to add to what they already have.

Yeah I'm really happy for Bled and for their season, and I think it's ok they didn't make the post season. They're gonna have a lottery pick instead of the twenty-something pick, and with the massive amount of assets they have they could make a big trade any time, or move up. Plus they're really young and already have the boost of their great unexpected play during the season, they didn't really need a first round loss to gain confidence.

I'm also sorry that Bledsoe didn't make the playoffs. And it's crazy to think that you get 47 wins in a season and don't make the playoffs. Still the Suns had a great season and I didn't expect them to do as well as they did.

If I'm not mistaken...

2013-14 season = 4th biggest disparity between Conferences in NBA history

1960 Eastern (70.8%)
2004 Western (63.3%)
1972 Western (63.2%)
2014 Western (63.1%)... with Sonics win over Pistons tomorrow
2014 Western (62.9%)... with Sonics loss to Pistons tomorrow

D-League could be major part of NBA raising age limit, sources say

The tradeoff would come in the D-League, the NBA's burgeoning set of minor-league affiliates that will number at least 18 teams next season.

MORE: D-League, as in development of players, ideas and more | NBA playoff field set

The sources said that, in order to pave the way for raising the age limit, the league would be willing to expand salaries in the D-League, giving each team a salary cap and allowing executives with each team to sign players as they wish. Not only would that allow D-League teams to sign good young players, it would allow NBA clubs to size up young executives and player evaluators.

"If they were to increase the salaries here, this would be easily the second-best league in the world," Foote said. "I think that is kind of what kills it, unfortunately. I get the business aspect of it, I understand, it is tough to raise the revenues to pay the players. But I think that is where the competition loses out. It is tough to raise a family on a D-League salary. In Europe, everything that is covered here in the D-League is covered there, too, plus you make six times, seven times more money."

Back in March, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban told reporters that players would be better off in the D-League than in the NCAA, and suggested ways that the league could provide a safety net for players who fail to pan out as prospects, including guaranteeing college tuition.

"We can get rid of all the hypocrisy and improve the education," Cuban said at the time. "If the whole plan is just to go to college for one year maybe or just the first semester, that's not a student-athlete. That's ridiculous."

I don't know if anybody else here watched, but it was a great 30 for 30 as usual. Most of the NBA world probably watched and I think it was a great kickoff to the playoffs.

They would have made it for sure if Bledsoe wasn't injured. A shame really.

I wish nothing but the best to Sager and his battle with leukemia.

I did watch the Bady Boys 30 for 30 documentary, very well done. I wish the NBA could be more physical, not as physical as the Pistons and Pacers were in the 80s however. But I feel like all these silly fouls cheapens the game. there's nothing wrong with being a little physical on defense. As a result flopping happens because of how the refs call the game. A player sells contact to get a foul call.
