I disagree, Chandler has been great on defense. I don't know why people keep ignoring it, but the Knicks were ranked 5th in defensive efficiency this season with Carmelo and Amare playing significant minutes. Compared to the 10th ranked OKC defense in defensive efficiency.

The Knicks actual problem was and is offense, not defense. Chandler cleaned up mistakes, got guys to be more aware on defense, cleaned up the glass and brought his defensive energy. Ibaka blocks shots but is nowhere near the defender that Chandler is. Ibaka is good defender, but he's not a DPOY defender this season. He's a guy that tries to block shots too much and leaves some other areas open, along with not being that impressive of a man to man defender.

KG I can agree with also, but KG put a team with a defensive system and solid defensive players in that system as the #1 defensive team. Chandler helped a team that people thought were a joke on defense become Top 5.

Heat and Thunder move 3-0 over the Knicks and Mavs.

After the close battles in OKC, I fully expected the Mavs to end the night off with a win. I didn't think that they wouldn't show up. :nonono: Game 4 is on Saturday.

Knicks and Heat....Amar'e messed that up. I thought that Melo would have had a big game, but Battier made sure that didn't happen. Game 4 will be on Sunday.

Knicks are doomed, and Brooklyn Nets are coming in to swipe all their fans.

How different would things have been if they would have tanked against us?

Could have matched up with the Bulls. Shumpert and Rose may or may not still be playing. Then again, if still won game 1 in the nature that we did, we'd be screwed.

Lol, there's even a thread on the GB called "pictures of Amare's injured hand". I just can't bring myself to look at that thread. I don't want to be scarred for life.

Dallas looks like they're out of there. The magic that they had last year is completely absent this year. Oh well, at least all those vets got a ring.

Of course the few hardcore will stay no matter what. But a lot of those fans will flip flop, you'll see. New York is dying for something new and exciting in terms of basketball. The Knicks have failed numerous times.

I'm sure there's people that will leave them, but the majority of the fans won't. That's all I'm saying.

Report: Alleged stalker charged with trespassing for walking on court during Lakers vs. Nuggets

You can run, you can hide, and you can play professional basketball. But the stalkers will find you.

A female patron walked on to the Pepsi Center court while play was live during Game 4 of a Western Conference first round playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.

The woman's presence stopped play as a security official and a referee intervened as she approached Nuggets guard Ty Lawson as he dribbled the basketball.

The TNT broadcast, citing arena security sources, reported that the woman had a history of "stalking or following several players" and that she was "basically banned from the arena" for those incident. TNT further reported, citing a police supervisor, that the woman was charged with trespassing for Sunday night's incident.

Yahoo Sports reported that the woman was "screaming" in the direction of the Nuggets bench and that she "stalked" former Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin during his time in Denver. Martin played for the Nuggets from 2004 to 2011 before signing with the Los Angeles Clippers for the 2011-2012 season.

Oden on Oden
In a rare and candid interview, the former top pick in the NBA draft discusses his injury-plagued career

Greg: "So what is this article going to be about?"

Me: "Well, my goal is to humanize you and give people an idea of what the last five years have been like for you. You might not realize it, but you're one of the biggest enigmas in the NBA. Because of your injuries, most fans haven't seen you play. And since you never do interviews, they don't know anything about you off the court either."

Greg: "I know. And that's the way I like it."

Mark Titus, Grantland

An in-depth article that chronicles Oden's career/rehab to this point. Oden has battled injury, heartache, embarrassment, alcoholism and depression in the last 5 years, but has not given up on his pursuit to make it in the NBA.

I wonder with the rumors that Phil Jackson wants to coach again as to whether he wants to coach the Clippers. He is obviously a much better coach than Del Negro, but I really don't want him coaching the Clippers- he is the main reason why I started to despise the Lakers when he took over in '99

I think Indy is gonna win the series vs the heat.

They are just so much stronger/bigger in the inside and there's no one in the heat that can control them
