40 point playoff win, there was no doubt about this one!
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

A couple of days ago, I read that Iguodala's presence was just as important to the Warriors as Blake's was to the Clippers. Tonight, they both played 29 minutes and some change.

Delusions of grandeur.

Warriors ultimately got what they wanted and took home court. Clippers came out in a must win and won big. Thursday should be veeeery interesting. We still haven't seen the Warriors guards go off at the same time.

I think you guys should hope that Blake gets some early foul trouble in Oakland because other than that, there is nobody on your team that can guard him. And on top of that, Mark Jackson is being stubborn by not trying to mix it up with different defenders on him to see what works. Lee and Green will not cut it.

Looking forward to hopefully a competitive and hard fought game Thursday.

- Largest margin of victory in a playoff game: 40 PTS
- Brand new playoff career high for Blake Griffin: 35 PTS
- Matched playoff career high for DeAndre Jordan: 5 BLK (Elton Brand)

But here's the juicier stat:

In Game 6 of the NBA Finals in 2008, when Doc Rivers coached the Celtics to defeat their arch nemesis Los Angeles Lakers, his largest margin of victory was 39 PTS. 40 PTS is now his newest playoff career high margin of victory. 138 points is also a playoff career high for points scored by a Doc Rivers team.

Griffin's Points per Minutes Average

You're right. Through two games, he's scored 51 points in 48 minutes and 46 seconds of playing time for an average of 1.05 PPM, if my math is correct.

The Clippers had something to prove tonight and they lived up to the billing. Now Golden State has to prove themselves back at homecourt so they should come out fired up, which is why it is important for the Clips to continue to take every opportunity to stifle the Warriors. We don't want to to give Curry or Thompson the chance to get off, which they're quite capable off, especially in a hostile environment for us.

What really worries me is that Chris Paul is surprisingly pressing quite a bit with his sloppy ballhandling. He's uncharacteristically got 11 turnovers in 2 playoff games so far. Yeah, he's adjusting to not being as ball-dominant, but it's a perfect opportunity for him to be more aggressive in looking for his shot, which is something everyone (fans, media, myself) have been calling for.
