We got crushed by the Rockets summer league team 83-60. I'm surprised that we even scored 60 points. Also I think Delonte West got hurt in this game and was taken out at some point. Here's a link to the boxscore http://www.nba.com/games/20140715/LACHO ... tml?ls=slt

CLIPPERS STRUGGLE TO KEEP UP WITH ROCKETS

LAS VEGAS – The Clippers seemed doomed from the start.

They scored just 10 points in the opening quarter of their 83-59 loss to the Houston Rockets at Cox Pavilion, a drought that carried for the duration of Tuesday’s Summer League game.

They topped 20 points in just one quarter, shot 16.7 percent from the 3-point range, committed 35 turnovers and were plagued by fatigue and bumps and bruises.

The Rockets took a 19-10 lead at the end of a first quarter that included just 10 made field goals by both teams. But Houston pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring the Clippers by 13 and eventually earning a lead as large as 27 in the second half.

Time Warner Sports Net just had the same feed that NBATV had. Not many teams have their own people covering their summer league games. Half the games are on NBATV or you can buy the summer league package for $4.99 online. (I've been too lazy to do it)

He is an undrafted tweener forward out of Oklahoma. I believe he went undrafted last year. He's been a nice surprise but struggled today. I guess we'll see if we'll invite him to training camp if he can have another good game.

We are playing the Heat at 5 PM today. This is the single elimination tournament, so if we lose this is it for the summer league.

We didn't have anyone playing on the team that played for the Summer League squad. If anything Delonte West and maybe a few others will make it to training camp. If you can get the best you talent then you have a shot to do well in SL. We're not a bad team so we don't have much young talent.
