This shouldnt really be much of a surprise.

We have one of, if not the best, 5-man units in the league with, or without Crawford.

As of today our starting 5 is the #1 +/- 5-man unit in the entire league, and with Crawford for Redick #18.

An elite offense last season, we are again this season (outside a few bumpy weeks early in the season). The offense has adjusted from adding new pieces and continuing to work on ball movement.

The problem is, and will continue to be, the bench. This is more of a problem during the regular season, rather than the post season when Doc will plays 8 guys.

Crawford isn't a great catch and shoot shooter. He is a great ball handler, great at creating space and drawing fouls. As a stand still shooter, he isn't in the same league as JJ, Allen or Korver.

I know Crawford has natural playmaking abilities with his ball-handling and passing, but he doesn't apply those gifts effectively nor consistently. He wastes them by setting up for his own shots with isolation plays.

I also saw some numbers recently that stated that Crawford was quite effective in catch-and-shoot situations but progressively less so with every increased dribble before the shot. I've been trying to find it for the past few days but have come up empty. However, I'm reading on here and elsewhere that people have been mentioning his catch-and-shoot effectiveness, which seems to validate it's existence.

true, just like non clipper fans think all Blake can do id dunk thanks to BSPN.

but from what i do remember about that stat sheet tho, it wasn't as Jamal was terrible at iso plays, simply his catch and shoot % was significantly better. he is streaky as hell and frustrating to watch on defense... or his passing... or ball hogging.... but good at what he does.
