I am still in shock. really thought we would win. the one thing that really hurts is the play of brewer, smith, and ariza. they made 3's and played great defense for 2 games out like plus 80 for the season. at the same time jj, matt, and jamal could not make a basket. that is the bottom line. those 3 will most likely not ever do that again at the same time. the clips still had a great season and have something going forward to build on. you keep jj, blake, cp3, dj, and try to get 3 new guys to fill out the top 8. you need a sf and pg in the worst way. it will be an interesting summer. good luck to the clips.

coming from a laker fan, i really wanted the clippers to kill houston....

the tweaks that need to be made, imo, are very minor, but the most important thing in this offseason for you is to retain deandre jordan....then you look at letting go of turkoglu/davis/crawford, and maybe even barnes...
keep reduce because hes a true shooter, and you need one of those to be successful.
doc rivers is still a great coach, but this team lacks passion (besides paul)

thanks, we are supposed to be natural enemies but it is pretty cool when you get other fans taking up pitchforks for you.

i don't think dj is going anywhere. i think letting go of turk and crawford is first on the list. i think we need to keep davis and especially barnes simply because we have no better alternatives.

the team does lack some passion. blake played with a huge lack of fire in the last game and that hurt us quite a bit.

Yeah I don't know if it was tired legs or what but Blake didn't play with nearly the same intensity in yesterdays game.

Shame that we couldn't go out swinging in gm7. 3 chances to close them out and FAILED. :nonono:

Got to max DJ

As much as I do like Jamal, he's a good dude, but he's got to go. Iso ball, freezing out teammates, and chucking up awful shots gets realllllly old

A new starter at the 3 spot (Barnes to the bench helps depth)

And get more depth. And hopefully Hawes has a better year 2. He showed flashes in the playoffs.

just wanna say that Im officially FINISHED with the "i hope we pull this team" in the playoffs.

If you have a team that's supposed to win, you'll beat who is front of you.
I thought getting the Rockets was a godsend. An indicator that we were supposed to waltz to the Conference Finals for the 1st time in franchise history.

lol, was I wrong.

I will never do that again. I don't care if it's SAS, OKC, GSW etc. etc. Play the best RS you can and beat who TF is in front of you. Match maker is for suckers who don't have the team to win.

Totally agree. Although I don't see Doc getting rid of Jamal. But pushing Barnes to the bench might might result in Jamal playing the SF spot less while also improving the defense of the bench.
Hawes was great in the playoffs and I hope we keep him.

Sore loser

That's definitely the reason...

Because sore losers go out of their way to congratulate the winning team and wish them the best of the luck in their next series.

No players were present for the exit interviews, only Doc. This loss will stick with them for a long while.
