I've been looking forward to a sequel for this underappreciated Disney movie, but I'm wary of using an African-American woman in the lead role over the original characters created by Dave Stevens, especially since the Iron Man comic books are doing that schtick. Apparently, Blake Griffin and Ryan Kalil of the Carolina Panthers are partners in their Mortal Media venture and approached Brigham Taylor, producer of "The Jungle Book" with the idea.
