Well, at least Griffin will be back by the all-star game, it sounds. Now how low in West seedings will we be by that time?

I'm not the most superstitious person, but I'm starting to believe in the Clippers curse.
It seems to always be something with either Blake or CP3.

I mentioned in some thread here a little while back that the Clips are probably better off dropping to 6 or 7 rather than 4 if the Warriors stay in 1st. I'd love to move up to 2nd or 3rd if possible, but that's going to be an even tougher task barring a huge setback to the Spurs or Rockets. Dropping to a lower seed means giving up HCA and playing a tough 1st round opponent, but I like this team's chances if we're healthy entering the postseason. If you sit in the 4th/5th spot, you're up against the Warriors in round 2. That's not attractive at all.

I was hoping that Chris would only be out for a couple days or so. We're not having much luck in terms of health in the first half of the season. The team is playing better but we were awful without Blake and Chris. We'll just have to do our best to maintain.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Didn't want to say anything yesterday, but to hell with X-rays. They always come back negative, then the next day you find out the real deal. What's even the point of having them? Feels like the only injuries they can actually confirm are the ones that would also be obvious to the naked eye, like a broken leg or something.

How hard is it to be a freakin Clippers fan? what else can go wrong for us? are they gonna bring back Sterling just to f*ck with our minds or what? contract the team? can't wait for the next heart breaking development :banghead:

I could see us climbing back to 3rd before this, but now I'm counting a best case scenario of a 40-39 record when Chris is supposed to come back, and that's if Blake comes back healthy soon and we don't have any more bad news. So yeah, probably 7th in the end, with the hectic schedule we have on March. Not sure I'd rather have a 1st round series on the road against the Spurs than have a potential 2nd round series against the Warriors. Might not even get to that potentially easier 2nd round.

Yea, while dropping sucks in terms of HCA, matchups against the Spurs and Rockets could be better for the Clippers than against the Warriors I suppose. If it plays out that way it could end up being beneficial if they stay healthy, maybe...

X-rays check for bone breaks, they say nothing of the ligaments

Just when the Rockets started to drop games too, of course this happens

Doc should bring in jarret jack for a look. Nice combo guard if healthy. Would allow him to sit Crawford if he continues to slump

Well, LA did just get the new Sterling minus the racism, Dean Spanos...

Yeah, x-rays are basically the first step in seeing if there is any bone damage only. MRI sees tissue and ligament damage but takes more time to scan. I wonder if Staples center has an MRI machine back there. Probably not.

The road to WCF would've been hard anyway, I guess. Not having to play the Warriors until late would be nice.

Very annoying given that he already had an injury earlier in the year.
I agree...fall to the 6 or 7 and just try to clip GSW in the CFs.

Not giving up on this team or this season.

Its not that bad if Clips get 7th seed they have a better chance at getting to the WCF than as a 4th seed where they face the Warriors in the 2nd round!

Tell me I wasn't the only one who thought this was a new thread and CP3 got injured AGAIN...
